Series To Watch

I am certainly no stranger to a tv series and everybody knows that in my life. The amount of time I have spent in my existence watching shows on the television or my computer is honestly embarrassing considering I'm not getting paid for it. Maybe someone should be paying me for it. However, it does mean I get to share it with you, dear people. I will do a list order first, don't worry.

• Ghosts (US Version)

I'm sure the UK version is great, I just haven't gotten around to watching it yet. This series follows Sam and her husband inheriting a mansion from Sam's relative whom just passed away. Sam falls down the stairs and dies for a few minutes resulting in the ability to see the Ghosts who reside there. All of whom are pictured above. This started playing automatically after I had caught up with another show and I'm glad I just said 'f it' because this show is so fun to watch. They then turn the mansion into a Bed and Breakfast and Sam does many, many things for the Ghosts.

• DMV

If you like shows such as The Office then you will definitely enjoy this one. It's pretty straight forward, they work at a DMV in California. It is a super easy to watch show with so many funny moments. There is not really an underlying story going on underneath it all it seems. It's just a lot of fun.

• Paradise

Now this one... I am extremely obsessed. Season 2 is releasing as we speak and I wait for each week with anticipation. This is a sci-fi post-apocalyptic political thriller following the Head of the President's Secret Service in America. I've been telling my entire friend group to watch this along with just anyone who will listen really. Last year they did promo for the series and wrote "They're lying to us" in the sky with a plane and everyone who did not know about this show, including me, was very freaked out.

• School Spirits

This is definitely a teen show, safe for teens and whatnot. However that does not stop you from enjoying it. It's written very well and the cast is perfect. This starts with a senior girl investigating her own death inside of her school along with the other ghosts who have died there as well. Everything slowly unravels with each passing episode. Go watch this and then demand the immediate renewal for season 4 because you're gonna want more. The story quickly starts snowballing into something way more once a few things are revealed to the viewer. I am obsessed!

• Matlock (2024)

I have also been watching the new Matlock series. I wasn't a huge fan of the original Matlock with Andy Griffith but this new revamp is a great watch. I even got my family to start watching and they love it too. It's a great lawyer show if you're into that.

These are all the series I am or have been watching over the last few months. Once I started each one of these I could not stop watching. The same goes for The Traitors US. I'm not a big reality competition show watcher but this last season got me very interested in the game. I can't wait to see what the next season will bring to we viewers.

I support anything with good writing. a great cast, and a passion. Personally my favorite right now has to be School Spirits. There aren't a lot of teen shows these days or content suited for younger kids and I think this one really hits the mark. I feel very passionate about that. The line between adult content versus teen content has been so blurred over the years and it's just nice to see something that is actually more appropriate for a younger generation to watch. While I enjoyed Euphoria, that is not a show for younger teens in my eyes.
