House of the dragon. Greens verse the blacks
A look into the relentless Facebook argument

let me start by saying. Most of the people on most of the Facebook pages are trolls, even some of the pages themselves are run by trolls. I’m not saying there isn’t any fun to be had in trolling some one, that is if they deserve it. To really judge this, one needs to look at everything, the argument, the statement and the conclusion.
Like every great drama we have two sides(seemingly, we have sides with in sides) we have the greens, lead by king Agon, or his mother and grandfather depending on how you look at it. And then you have the blacks, lead by the named heir Rhaenyra.
Agon, rhaenyra‘s half brother and first born son has been crowned king after the death of their father in a ploy to usurp rhaenyra the kings named heir. To do this the greens held black supporters against their will and killed others to solidify Agons claim and crown him king before news of her fathers death could reach his ears, which meant hiding the kings death for days while they acted apon plans made in secret behind closed doors. By the kings law rhaenyra should be queen
In Westeros, a family line has always been passed down through a male heir. When the king fails to produce a living heir he names his daughter rhaenyra his heir, after which he remarried and finally sires a son, Agon. The lord of the realm expect the king to denounce rhaenyra and name Agon the heir, however the king remains strong and decided to do nothing about it. Blinded or just uncaring to how the lords of the realm felt. rhaenyra Is forced to marry a man who plays with other men. And births illegitimate sons. The king remains blind to her treason and insult to her station. Making her unworthy of the throne. A greens view.
Now this is just a simplified explanation of the two sides. But yet people are continuing to bring real world problems and politics into their sides, or presumptions of another’s reasoning for choosing their side.
If seen few reasonable arguments that ended well on good terms. Or even without two to ten people throwing insults at each other. This fandoms has its crazy Karen’s it seems.
I have found the most common arguments involve accusations of bigotry and inflammatory remarks about another’s views homosexuality. Often calling people haters because they don’t agree.
It can be frustrating at times, especially when you’re just looking to explore ideas and exchange theories. The trolls on these pages are beginning to put number the true fans of the franchise, turning it into to political Statement to further their gender crisis agenda.
These arguments are only turning people who didn’t care before against the movement concerning gender politics. And turning the haters into fanatical haters.
Now with house of the dragon all some people want to hear you say is their opinion, otherwise your a homophobe or a bigot, even a pedo. These kinds of arguments and insults not only hurt the pages, but the confidence people had to post their views online. In other ways it can effect people on a deeper level, there are more than one way a person can snap and in some cases, I feel some countries fire than others have felt the consequences of these kinds of politics.
I think the point is that the show had nothing to do with the real world. I don’t care if that woman isn’t a woman or a man. So long as they can act, I don’t care. And I don’t have to care..and not caring dosn’t make me homophobic. And yet still people will call me one for no other reason than to annoy me. It’s these kind of things that make enjoying a tv show for what it is difficult. And that’s just house of the dragon problems. Rings of power had racial issues all its own and that made no sense. Or was it people accusing others of having racial issues.
