General Hospital spoilers: Sonny may push Esme to tell the truth

General Hospital spoilers are projecting an interesting plot that fans will definitely desire to see play out. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) became personally involved in the case against Trina Robinson ( Tabyana Ali) on Tuesday. The mob boss found Ava Cassadine (Maura West) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) together and told them Trina had been arrested. Both women shouted “Esme” at the same time as they knew Ms. Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) had framed Trina.

After Ava went to the police station Sonny and Carly discussed his mantra of “When someone pulls a knife you pull out a gun.” Carly asked her ex not to become involved but he walked away saying he was going to handle things. Spoilers suggest he will corner Esme and attempt to put the fear of God in her and Wednesday previews indicate this will happen. Esme is slick and so far has shown no fear. The only time she seems vulnerable is when she realizes Spencer cares for Trina.

Port Charles rallies around Trina

On Tuesday Sonny called on Brick (Stephen Smith) to locate the truth and Ava wants Sonny to prove Esme is guilty. Everyone knows Trina was set up but the big issue will be proving it. Sonny will use all his skills but Esme might not crack. He is used to making offers that cannot be refused but he might find this time his tactics don't work.

Esme is a tough cookie who might turn the tables on the mob boss and end up hurting Trina’s case. She could spin the situation and have things work in her favor for now. Sonny could have Esme tailed or perhaps in true Godfather style leave a horse head in her bed. General Hospital fans want this storyline to quickly come to an end but if Esme ends up dead or in jail over Trina there will be no way for her Ryan Chamberlain (John Linstromtom) connection to be revealed.

Half the town of Port Charles is out to prove that Trina was framed and it would not make sense for everyone to be outwitted by one teenage girl. In the meantime, Spencer seems to be the only one who is not fully convinced of what happened. It appeared during his flashbacks that he was realizing his psycho girlfriend was behind the sex tape but when he got to the PCPD he questioned Trina and asked her why she did it.

Esme's day is coming

Sonny, Carly, and Ava, along with Trina’s family should be able to solve this mystery but General Hospital may desire this to play out in the long run. Bick and Damian Spinelli ( Bradford Anderson ) always get the goods on their man or woman but Esme might stay one step ahead of everyone. Carly and Ava teaming up was fun to watch and viewers are glad that thus far Spencer seems to be the only one doubting Trina.

General Hospital fans would love it if Sonny got Esme to crack by making her an offer she cannot refuse. This girl's mentor is serial killer Ryan Chamberlain who may or may not be her father so anything is possible. Itt will be interesting to find out whether or not Sonny is able to get her to talk.

Whatever happens, there are two things that are certain. It's always good to have Sonny as an ally and Esme's day is surely coming. Sonny may end up the hero or he could mess things up and make it difficult to prove Trina's innocence
