General Hospital: More heartbreak predicted for 2022
Viewers are reeling from recent events but should brace themselves for additional woes in the New Year.
General Hospital fans who were hoping the New Year would be brighter in Port Charles will be in for a surprise. Spoilers are indicating that there will be more heartbreak in the New Year. Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) leaving town and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) being presumed dead were made worse by the fact that both of the soap veterans were fired for refusing the COVID vaccines. Baby Liam Michael's death right at Christmas was devastating both on and off screen and it looks as if things will not brighten up anytime soon.
Sasha and Brando
General Hospital fans are concerned that now that their infant has died that Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Matteson) will split. Spoilers indicate that Sasha will indeed push Brando away during the New Year and desire to handle her grief her own way. GH viewers are also wondering if Sasha could relapse on drugs but there have not been any reports of that happening. The couple's unconventional relationship grew stronger because of the baby. Without Liam to bond them, there is no telling what will happen.
Tracy Quartermaine and Laura Collins
The biggest news that is coming is the presumed death of Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary). Tracy Quartermaine will return to Port Charles and is supposed to break the news that Luke is dead. Laura Collins (Genie Francis) was married to Luke and he was the father of two of her children. Lulu Spencer Falconeri (Emme Rylan) is out of town in a medical facility where she remains in a coma. Lucky Spencer ( Jonathan Jackson) is in another country so Tracy and Laura will have to console each other.
Luke was Carly Corinthos's (Laura Wright's) uncle as her mom Bobbie Spencer (Jackie Zeman) is Luk's sister. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was a friend and business associate so this will cause him some grief as well. Spencer Cassadine (Nichols Chaves) loved Luke when he was a child so this will also affect him as well as other Port Charles residents.
Martin Grey and Lucy Coe
General Hospital fans were happy to see Martin Grey (Michael E Knight) and Lucy Coe ( Lynn Herring) get together over the holidays but spoilers tease that the relationship might not last. Lucy has a track record of hurting the men she has been in love with as Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) can attest to. Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is supposed to give Martin a warning about the woman he took the walk of shame with but it's not clear if he heeds the advice.
Carly and Sonny
The truth about Sonny and Nina in Nixon Falls is going to hit Carly like a ton of bricks. Spoilers say she will turn to Brado for emotional support but it could turn into something more. Fans believe all of this drama is a set up so that Nina and Sonny can finally hit the sheets. The deaths of Luke and Jason along with the Nina revelation are going to really test this couple in 2022.
Michael and Willow
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will be at odds because of her knowledge that Sonny and Nina fell in love. Michael will be angry that this even happened and he will hate that Willow knew and kept it from him. This is going to make their unusual union even more troubled.
Michael and WIllow were falling in love but fought their feelings and continued dating Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Sasha. They married so they could adopt Wiley Corinthos ( Viron Weaver) but had the union annulled rather than admit how they felt about one another. Now they are living together but not discussing making things permanent. Spoilers say there will be much turmoil that comes their way in 2022.
Joss, Cam, Trina, and Spencer
Esme Prince (Kristen Pohl) has revenge on her mind and spoilers say she will ruin the lives of the four friends. There were rumors that she would end up in bed with Cameron Webber ( Will Lipton) during the trip to Sonny's cabin. Last week Esme caught Spencer holding Trina Robinson's (Sydney Makayla's) hand and she was livid.
It has been suggested that Esme will try to make Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) jealous by making it look as if something is going on between Cam and Trina. Whatever Ms. Prince does is going to shake things up for the teens and cause heartbreak along the way. The Rachels - 2025
Much to my surprise, I have kept a list of the films I‘ve seen this year. I daresay it isn’t complete. There will be films that snuck in on a late night in front of the TV that I would’ve forgotten to note. Or others, that I went to watch at the cinema, but then had a red wine and promptly forgotten about. But it’s not a bad approximation of the films I’ve seen this year. In total, there are 53 films listed, so an average of one a week and one for good luck.
