General Hospital fans are up in arms over the fact that Sasha Gilmore (Sophia Mattson) and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) are allegedly first cousins. It was a cringeworthy moment in Port Charles when Sasha planted a passionate kiss on Cody after beign told they were blood relatives. Fans are angry for two specific reasons.

First, they don't believe the writers went in this direction, and second, no one believes there is a timeline where this scenario fits with Holly being off-screen. It was a stretch when Ethan Lovett (Nathan Parsons/James Ryan) became Luke Spencer's (Anthony Geary) son. No one went back in time to see if Ethan's birth lined up with Luke and Holly being together.

Viewers say the writers think they are stupid

Now fans are saying the writers are crazy, this doesn't make sense, and it's disgusting. Being Sasha's mother, Holly also baffles viewers who don't understand why the writers created this scenario. It does seem, however, that this has been in the works for a while based on the fact that Sasha and Cody have not slept together.

This was unusual for a soap couple, as they were constantly being interrupted. General Hospital fans say having Sasha and Cody kissing and making out with each other and now beign related was wrong. Some fans wonder why, if this was faithful, Holly didn't visit her daughter or tell Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) the truth long ago.

GH fans say on social media that the writers must think they are idiots. Not one person has stated they believe this is a good storyline. Some viewers wonder if Luke might be Sasha's father and if Holly is lying again. Others think Sasha is a grifter and works with Valentin Cassadine to trick Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), which proves she is her mother's daughter.

Holly is a hot mess

This storyline will ruin Sasha and Cody and also make Robert furious. His brother Mac Scorpio (John J York) already detests Holly and has been trying to make sure Holly does not interfere with Robert and Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennessy). Fans say nothing good can come from this revelation, making them dislike Holly even more.

Viewers are supposed to accept that she raised not one but two children alone without ever telling the fathers. This took valuable time away from what Robert and Luke could have spent with their offspring. Some who watch General Hospital wonder why the show mistreats Sasha.

First, she lost her baby Liam, and then Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) was killed by Heather Webber (Ally Mills). She went through emotional trauma and relapsed on drugs. Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) was spending her money on gambling and was responsible for Sasha being institutionalized.

So here we go again with GH changing history again. First they say that Sam just got tested to see if she is a match for Lulu. Well guess what, she also said she was tested last week and at that time she was not a match. Now they are saying that Sasha and Cody are cousins. When Sasha used her hair instead of Cody's when Felicia was trying to do a sneak test to see is Cody was Mac's son, there would have been some familial match. Mac and Robert are brothers so Sasha would have some chronozones matching Mac's. Please Sasha go get a DNA test done, not at GH but at Mercy so that the test will be correct.
