Dupahiya Web Series Review: Ek Aur Panchayat
Renuka Shahane is a good artist but thanks for her efforts. Heartfelt salute.

There is a series on Amazon Prime Video named Dupahiya, I have seen it and when I saw its trailer, I got an idea that this series will give us the vibes of TVF's Panchayat, but is it of that quality or better than that or is it just a time pass, let's talk about it.
There is a village in Bihar named Dhadakpur, where no crime of any kind has taken place in the last 24 years. Now, in such a situation, a theft takes place in that village, that to a bike which was to be given as dowry in the marriage of a girl of that village and if the bike is not found, then the marriage of that girl will get cancelled and if the police come to know that there has been a theft in the village, then the 24-year no crime record of that village will be broken.
Now the question arises of how the bike got stolen, who is the thief, does the bike got back or not and in all this what problems do the girl's family and the villagers face, and how the suspense unfolds, this has been presented to you in a satire way with some comic situations and dialogues.
By the way, after some research, I found out that its writer and creator is Avinash Dwivedi; after finishing the whole series, I came to know that he was also the main character in it.
From the characters, I remember that except for Renuka Shahane's character portrayal, everyone has done a great job.
All the actors got so involved in their roles that you, too, will feel connected to those characters with some emotion or the other.
Renuka Shahane's role was good and necessary, too, but the Bihari accent given to her seemed very forceful comparing others.
It also stars our Laapataa Ladies actor Sparsh Shrivastav, and mark my words, this boy has the potential to make the film industry proud in the future; he smooth acting; it doesn't seem like he is acting; he has dissolved and absorbed every emotion, such is Sparsh's acting.
Look, this is a series of nine episodes and the average time of each episode is almost 30 to 35 minutes. So, it will take you at least four and a half hours to binge-watch this series but you will enjoy it.
There shouldn't have been any songs. Even the BGM was not suitable in the necessary scenes. You might not remember that it had such a BGM. Only that song with the male dancer in the ladies' avatar was a good performance, and both the actors danced so well in that song. The situation that is created there is written after a lot of thought, and that scene is an example of proper screenwriting.
Until the last episode, you will not get to know who stole the bike and the way the suspense opens up in the last episode, and everything is revealed; I got the vibe of a proper suspense thriller, I swear.
But because comedy has been added to it, it has a soothing ending. Otherwise, you will feel every moment that you are watching another version of Panchayat made in an alternate universe, only the story is a little different.
In the future, Panchayat's Phulera village and this show's Dhadakpur may collaborate as both are Amazon's shows, so it can happen.
By the way, there is no vulgar content in the series, and there is very minor abuse in one or two places, but the show has been made in a completely family-friendly way, so if you want, you can watch it with them, but if you prefer to watch it with friends, you will enjoy it.
This series also gives some good messages in the end.
