Dhurandhar

The spy thriller Dhurandhar continues its strong run at cinemas even after 26 days of release. With Ranveer Singh in the lead and directed by Aditya Dhar, the film has been drawing big audiences, especially around the New Year celebrations. Its momentum at the box office shows growth over recent days, and the movie is poised to set new records in Bollywood.

Day 26 Collections and Trends

On Tuesday, Dhurandhar saw a slight rise in ticket sales. The early estimated net collection for the day in India was about Rs 11.25 crore. This showed a marginal improvement compared to its collection on Monday, which was around Rs 10.50 crore. With this addition, the total domestic net earning of Dhurandhar has crossed Rs 712.25 crore in just 26 days in theaters.

Most films see a drop in daily collections as weeks pass, but Dhurandhar has held strong. Even in its fourth week in cinemas, it is still earning in double digits, a sign of continued audience interest and strong word of mouth. This steady run has helped it inch closer to some of the biggest numbers seen in recent Bollywood history.

Despite the slight slowing after its initial weeks, Dhurandhar maintained a good occupancy rate in many theaters. Morning shows were slower, but evening shows drew larger crowds, suggesting that many viewers are choosing to watch it after work or during peak hours.

Week-Wise Box Office Journey

According to the reported trends, Dhurandhar had impressive earnings in earlier weeks. In its first week it reportedly earned around Rs 207 crore. The second week was even bigger, with estimated earnings of Rs 253.25 crore. Week three saw a dip to about Rs 172 crore, while week four’s current total sits at about Rs 79.75 crore. The film still has a couple of days left in the current week, which could add more to these totals.

Such a pace over multiple weeks shows the film’s lasting appeal. Many big blockbuster films enjoy strong openings but drop sharply in later weeks. Dhurandhar has managed to spread its success across more days, which has helped its overall total climb steadily.

Overseas Business and Worldwide Total

The film has also done very well overseas. Its performance in international markets has impressed producers and cinema owners alike. With overseas collections of around Rs 240.75 crore, Dhurandhar’s global total stands just shy of the Rs 1,100 crore mark. Some industry reports suggest the worldwide total might already have crossed that milestone.

The overseas response has helped push the film into rare company among Indian films. Many Bollywood releases earn most of their money domestically, but strong international numbers add significantly to the total haul here.

Chasing Records: Jawan and Beyond

One of the biggest talking points around Dhurandhar right now is its run toward the lifetime record held by Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan. That film’s lifetime worldwide collection is around Rs 1,160 crore. If Dhurandhar can go past that mark by the end of its theatrical run, it will take the crown as the highest-earning Bollywood film of all time.

Dhurandhar Box Office

Already Dhurandhar has beaten some major titles. It has crossed the Rs 1,000 crore gross mark and overtaken films like Kalki 2898 AD and Pathaan in total collections. These are huge achievements for any Hindi film, especially one that relies on a single language release rather than a multi-language rollout.

A big part of this success comes from the film’s consistent performance week after week. Many films hit high numbers early and then drop off quickly. Dhurandhar has shown steadier numbers over several weeks, keeping it in the race for all-time records.

Comparison With Other Releases

While Dhurandhar dominates Bollywood box office lists, it is still facing competition from major films in other genres or markets. Hollywood releases like Avatar: Fire and Ash are performing at their own pace, and several Bollywood films are opening soon that could challenge audience attention.

In its current run, though, Dhurandhar remains strong and continues to add to its totals every day. Its blend of action, star power, and strong word of mouth has kept people showing up at cinemas well into its fourth week.

Looking Ahead: Sequel Buzz

Talk of a sequel has already started, and there is industry buzz that Dhurandhar Part 2 could also do big business when it releases next year. If the first film keeps this pace and breaks major records, the sequel might have even higher expectations riding on it.

For now, Dhurandhar ends 2025 as one of the biggest hits of the year and continues its chase of all-time greatest Bollywood box office numbers.
