There are a lot of rumors that the 42nd season of The Challenge will be do or die if they want the franchise to continue. The last season, Vets & New Threats, sounded ridiculous but was actually a good season. We've seen some terrible themes like Spies, Lies, & Allies. This article will be a list of what themes The Challenge should do from season 42 to 50 to make it as iconic as possible.

42. The Challenge: Free Agents II

We need to bring back an OG theme, and Free Agents was the theme for the 25th season of The Challenge. This season saw Bananas get his 5th win and Laurel get her 1st. A lot of players are asking for an individual season, and Free Agents 2 would be perfect. Some of the cast for this season is already announced via PinkRose and GamerVev on Twitter.

43. The Challenge: Rivals IV

Michaela and Olivia. Jordan and Turbo. Cara Maria and Laurel. Should I say more? Bring it on. This season is always iconic and always stands out. They need to do genuine rivalries instead of picking people that fake them for the camera.

44. The Challenge: Exes III

Rivals and exes back to back? This theme always causes fireworks, and I'm surprised they haven't done it since season 26 when Sarah Rice and Jordan Wiseley won. They could probably cast a lot of Love Islanders and bring it viewership. I would also like some couples like Bananas and Morgan or Marie and Devin.

45. The Challenge: Heroes vs Villains

Let's bring an iconic Survivor season over to The Challenge. I know they did Good Guys vs Badasses almost 20 years ago, but let's make it more PG and do 2 teams. Heroes vs. villains is always a good idea.

46. The Challenge: Battle of the Shows

We have seen so many new shows added into The Challenge world. Let's put them all against each other. Some teams could be...

  • The Real World
  • Road Rules
  • Big Brother
  • Survivor
  • Love Island USA
  • Love Island UK

47. The Challenge: War of the Worlds III

Let's do War of the Worlds III but change it up a little bit. Let's do the following teams...

  • USA
  • UK
  • Canada
  • Nigeria
  • Japan
  • Turkey

Let's make it an actual War of the Worlds.

48. The Challenge: Champions vs Contenders

I do love a good 2-team season. Let's do a team of Champs vs. players that have never won. I know they did this on The Ruins, but it's again been 20 years. After watching the vets vs the new threats on season 41 I think the contenders might actually win this season.

49. The Challenge: Cutthroat II

The season before season 50. Put CT, Bananas, Wes, and Jordan as captains and do 4 teams instead of 3. This season would be legendary. I'd love to see who would be the champ of all champions.

50. The Challenge: Combat of the Champions

Survivor: Winners at War was so successful, let's do it with The Challenge. Bring in all Champs and let's see who wins. Hopefully they have some money saved up and can cast Jordan, Evelyn, Olivia, Bananas, CT, Wes, Turbo, Amber, Rachel, Jenny, Tori, Laurel, Cara Maria, Darrell, Devin and more.
