Captain America 4 new commander

New Captain America 4 has Julius Onah new commander. “The Cloverfield Paradox” and “Loose” director Julius Onah gears up for fourth new “Captain America 4” film, now starring Anthony Mackie and following the events of the 2022 Disney+ series, “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.” based on construction.

Chris Evans will no longer return as Captain America. Sadly, Chris Evans will no longer appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the new Captain America 4 - at least not as the titular superhero.

Whether or not Chris Evans will reprise his role of Steve Rogers, aka the first Captain America, is not yet clear, but I think he will no longer play the lead role of Captain (though if the question continues as to who is the shield). The MCU explored Sam Wilson's journey to becoming Captain America with the Disney+ series The Falcon which premiered in March 2021 and concluded in April the 2022 year. The day after the final episode aired it was confirmed that Marvel Studios was developing Captain America 4 with Sam Wilson in role. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier head writer Malcolm Spellman will pen the script and it was recently announced that Julius Onah would direct Captain America 4.

Despite Captain America's 4 story getting a proper conclusion at the end of Avengers: Endgame, there have been persistent rumors that Marvel Studios was in contact to have Evans reprise his role as Steve Rogers. Unlike Tony Stark and Natasha Romanoff who died in that film, Steve Rogers was last seen alive and his whereabouts became a fun running joke over the course of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. It appears though that Evans has moved on from the role, lining up various other film projects and Marvel Studios is fully committed to continuing the franchise by passing it on to Mackie as Sam Wilson.Evans knows what it is like to face such resistance to stepping into an iconic role and is showing full support for his successor ahead of Captain America
