Bench Life Web Series Review: A Surprisingly Emotional Ride on SonyLIV

No doubt, South Indian movies are quite good, but web series are lagging, that is, there are only a few web shows that become hits, but mostly the condition of the shows is a bit bad.

Now a new Telugu show has come on SonyLIV whose name is Bench Life. So in which category is this show, good or bad? Let's find out.

Well, in Bench Life you get to see the story of three friends who want to go to Bench from their job. Now what is a Bench? What is it? I am pretty sure that corporate workers will know this very well.

Now the question comes: why do all three of them have to go to the bench and what problems are all three of them facing? Watch this show which has five episodes whose length is 40-40 minutes and it is available on SonyLIV.

Bench Life Review

If I describe the review of the Bench Life series for you in a few words, then I am surprised. Now when I was watching the trailer of this series, I did not have any special expectations from it that it could be something so surprising. Honestly, I was feeling the same as South's web series or should I say web shows are nothing special and why should I give time to this series? I watched this show for review purposes and it proved me completely wrong.

It has to be said that now South Industry is making improvements in its web shows which is visible after watching this series.

Let me share an interesting fact, I was almost about to stop watching this series after watching the initial two episodes, but I don't know what I thought. I watched episode 3.

After that, all my eating and drinking happened while watching this show!

You're going to be engaged by the turn this show takes in Episode 3.

And then episode 4 made me emotional, so for me, it has proved to be an enjoyable roller coaster ride.

First of all, what is the importance of family in our life, what is the bond between father and daughter and what should be the bond between a wife and husband, there was a good focus on all these things.

The way the emotional bond has been hit here, is a matter of value for money, although I have not paid any money, I get subscriptions to many OTT platforms through companies for free.

Let me tell you that the emotional scenes of episode number 4 and five are the highlights of this entire show, some small twists will surprise you and yes, they enhance your experience of watching this show.

Enjoyed watching the bond between father and daughter.

Coming to the acting department, the actors were acting very well, the music was also good, there was an emotional song, I don't remember its name but it was quite a hit, which means it can enhance the emotional scenes.

BGM is also decent, good at some places and bad at some places. The climax is such that there is no need to wait for season 2, the story has been finished within the first season itself.

Conclusion

All in all, if you want to watch a feel-good drama then this show is for you, but if you want spice, Entertainment, and thrill then sorry boss this show is not for you at all.

Weak point: I felt that there should have been a little more depth in the character.

In terms of parental guidance, this is a family-friendly show. You will not get to see any bad language, vulgarity or adult scenes here. Hindi dubbing is good. The good thing is that the songs have not been dubbed, due to which their authenticity remains intact.
