what can work for humanity is an alliance between Elves and Men. They both suffer and have allies they can turn on when they are in danger or in need of allies. They've fought alongside one another before and understand the other's plight in a similar manner. Perhaps Elves can advise the orcs on what the elves will likely demand from them. They can see the picture and see a way forward.

More history is suggested. Elves haven't been in this world of man, orcs and orcs until the orcs came in and pushed them out. They had their own home world. Perhaps they were more advanced and known what the world would be like, even before the orcs arrived. Or maybe they didn't realize the dangers the orcs posed. Perhaps elves saw orcs as a threat and wished for their weapons to be used, if they were afraid of the orcs.

Orcs begin to wonder about the world. They have no place of peace. If they are hunted, they will have no place of safety. They seek any protection they can get. The Elves know about them. They begin to realize they are not an enemy. It could work for the humans if they chose. The humans would take advantage of the Elves' willingness to work with them to the exclusion of their own kind.

Orcs and Elves are finally at peace. They have developed a small kingdom together, in the building of the Dwarves. It is growing, and is forming a small kingdom, with the Kingdom of Men nearby. They work together. Humans are encroaching on the Dwarves' area, and the Dwarf-Narwhals have intermarried with the Orc race, increasing their numbers. The Elves have close allies among the Dwarves. They will work with them. They are the closest human allies they have. Elves are close friends to the Narwhals, and are the only humans they would allow near their forests, as their lives would be in danger from those who would hunt them.

The Elves and Dwarves, however, know what will happen if the humans who are encroaching on their land continue to encroach. That is when they will work with the Men and Men will aid them. They will turn their weapons on the humans and kill them all. The humans are nothing but a threat to the Elves. But the Elves know that Men will also aid them in that attack.

I think, based on the core concept, and what the readers believe to be true of fantasy worlds, a fantasy story can work in any dimension. The readers may know about a story's rules of the fantasy world; they may not know about the others.

I have adapted this concept from the original of H. Beam Piper's Piper's Century Trilogy. In the story, the characters knew about an alternate dimension called Etheria. They saw things there that were in place, like the shape of the continents or that world's mythical people. But not everything was as it was in our own world. There was a whole world in the shape of our world, but with animals that never existed here and strange locations. For example, some people thought the fish-like fish that became the fish that became the whale. After all, if the humans are destroyed, the Elves can live free of human domination. There will be one human place left to occupy, but that will still be safe. The Elves only wish to live in peace and prosperity among the other races, rather than killing them off.

The scenario of war would have ended. Peace is restored to the region. The conclusion of the scenario is up to the players.

The End of the World.

The humans have suffered. The Elves and Dwarves have worked together to put an end to their existence as a race. The humans have fled into the mountains and sealed themselves there, where the Elves and Dwarves would never dare venture, for fear of them. The Orcs have fled to the far side of the world. Elves and Dwarves have declared a zone of peace in that region, and a border there to separate the...
