A Heartwarming Tale: The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague
Spoil-free Review

I came across this anime from one of my lists. Wait you mean to tell me that you recommended yourself an anime? Yes, I did. I only write reviews or lists of anime I have seen, however for the Halloween episodes I just listed out episodes from 15 different anime. I thought this title looked interesting so I decided to give it a try and I was not disappointed.
We are past Halloween but if you want to check out the Halloween list here it is.

The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague
Storyline: Himuro is an office worker who belongs to a race of supernatural beings with strange powers. Whenever he is deep in concentration, he subconsciously plunges his poor coworkers into a close rendition of the Arctic. Even so, contrary to his icy powers, Himuro is a warm and kind person. He likes flowers and cats, but alas, he cannot get too close to either. Himuro has a soft spot for his colleague Fuyutsuki, a calm woman who has a knack for providing simple solutions to his unconventional problems. Whenever Fuyutsuki does something for him, a snowstorm of emotions builds inside Himuro’s heart, and he fails to notice the raging snowstorm he causes on the office floor. Thanks to his snowy tantrums, Himuro’s feelings are apparent to everyone but Fuyutsuki. However, fueled by immense adoration and desire, Himuro is prepared to do whatever it takes to capture her heart.

I had no idea something so cute and wholesome existed. I can watch horror like it is nothing, but give me a cute romance and I’m screaming into the pillow (Literally)
What a cute and creative idea for an office romance. Most rom-coms or slice-of-life anime are in a high school setting. Although these are fun settings I can’t relate to them anymore. Seeing adults in an office setting was relatable.
Anime knows how to make romance perfect. I can’t watch romantic movies or shows because they are unrealistic and stupid. I remember watching a movie and within the first 20 minutes of meeting the main characters already slept together and were in love. Please like that ever happens. In anime, they keep you on the edge of your seat. They didn’t even hold hands yet my heart was pounding throughout the show. We see them over a year, slowly learn more about each other, and watch their feelings bloom.
As an introvert, I loved seeing two introverts falling for each other. They stay calm and collected but in their head, they are exploding with emotions. Himuro-kun made me blush throughout the whole show. He doesn't know how to communicate his emotions yet the snow does all of the talking for him. His emotions are always on display, and we can hear his thoughts, which is adorable.

My Review: This is one of my new favorite romance anime. I can only think of a handful of anime that turned me into a middle school girl and this was one of them. I watched the whole thing in one sitting, screaming throughout the show and then immediately finding the manga online to keep reading the story. A simple and creative story that is so wholesome it will make you feel like you are going to explode.

Manga Wishlist: What Readers Hope to Find in Stores
Hi friends! I need some help. My brother owns a comic book shop and he asked me to make a list of manga he should order. He has only ever seen Demon Slayer and solo leveling, so when it comes to the anime/manga world he is clueless. Lucky for him he has a huge anime fan for a sister.
Time to get back to reading The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague! See you later
