The rich quadriplegic and the young offender since then had developed a close friendship through their entire lives.

2. Loin du Périph (The Takedown - 2022)

Loin du Périph (The Takedown for its English name) is a French comedy movie, which tells the story of 2 different cops who are totally different from each other but have to work together again years after their last cooperation. A case of a dead body put these 2 cops with totally different characters into a series of drug trafficking rings and white supremacists. These 2 guys had to work together to fight their way out.

3. Sans répit (Restless - 2022)

While Sans répit (Restless) is an action-thriller French movie on Netflix, it is actually a remake of a 2014 Korean movie A Hard Day. If you have watched the original movie, you will know its twists and turns. This movie tells the story about a corrupted copy, who accidentally hit a man and tried to cover up the accident but unfortunately was witnessed by a mysterious man. The cop was then threatened by the mysterious witness and his life became even worse.

4. ADN (DNA - 2020)

ADN (DNA in English) is a French drama movie, which tells the story of Neige, who became empty after her grandfather - an Algerian independence fighter passed away in France. Neige's relationship with her parents and siblings was not contributing to her inner peace. Neige started to think that all her family's pain and problem are caused by their mixed ancestry and different societies between France and Algiers. After the useless DNA test, she stopped eating for depression. She travelled to Algiers and then found her inner peace with her Algerian passport.

5. Oxygène (Oxygen - 2021)

The Oxygène (Oxygen) is a French thriller/horror movie that was directed by Axeandre Aja and released in 2021. This French thriller movie tells the story of a woman that woke up in a cryogenic chamber without any memory and had to find a way out to save herself. Since her wake-up, she only got 90 minutes to make full use of everything available to know who she was and find out her way out before the oxygen runs out.

6. Léon: The Professional (The Professional - 1994)

This is a classic movie. Léon: The Professional (titled The Professional in the United States and Leon outside the United States), tells a story about t young girl and a professional assassin. The 12-year-old girl, Mathilda, whose parents and siblings were killed by her father’s employers, is reluctantly taken in by Leon, the professional assassin. At Mathilda’s request, Leon started to teach the young girl with the assassin’s skill and trade to help her revenge on the corrupted DEA agent. But in the process, the 2 had started to form a special relationship. In the end, Leon was killed and Mathilda had to carry her own life on.

7. Le Jeu (Nothing to Hide - 2018)

Le Jeu (Nothing to Hide) is another comedy French movie available on Netflix. This movie talks about the story of 3 couples and 1 single man who had known each other for decades and gathered to play a game. During the game, everyone had to share whatever they received on their phones, including text messages, call, instant messages, photos and others. While the party was started to be an amusing game, it quickly turned out to be a nightmare due to what they received on their phones.

8. Balle perdue (Lost Bullet - 2020)

Balle perdue (Lost Bullet in English) is an action French movie available on Netflix and other streaming services.
