12 Vets That Need to be on The Challenge 42

The Challenge 41 has done well but it needs help.

The Challenge: Vets and New Threats was the 41st season of The Challenge, and it is still airing. This season is bringing me hope that the franchise has potential. The rivalry of Michaela and Olivia has been organic and so iconic. Here are some vet players we need to see on 42 to continue this momentum.

Jordan Wiseley

Oiginal Show - The Real World: Portland

Challenge Championships: 5

  • Exes II
  • Dirty 30
  • War of the Worlds II
  • World Championship
  • Battle of the Eras

Jordan is the greatest male challenger of all-time. He absolutely dominated Battle of the Eras without even seeing an elimination. I would have loved to see how he would have played on Vets and New Threats with the "New Threat" males who have put up a great performance so far. Jordan brings a certain star power that was lacking on Vets and New Threats.

Kam Williams

Original Show - Are You The One? 5

Challenge Championships: 0

Kam hasn't been seen on the flagship since Double Agents when she got 2nd place. Kam has had 2 kids in the time frame now, but we've seen Leroy Garrett return, so why not Kam? Leroy has said he didn't perform well on Vets and New Threats, which is true so maybe he should take a break and let Kam come back. Kam brings a leadership presence on the show and deserves another chance to win.

Zach Nichols

Original Show - The Real World: Back to San Diego

Challenge Championships: 1

  • Battle of the Seasons (2012)

Zach was last seen getting 2nd place on War of the Worlds II. He has since started a podcast where he interviews challengers and hosts events. He has been in The Challenge world the past 6 years even though he hasn't been on the show. I think it would be interesting to bring Zach back, and he would definitely bring drama with him.

Ashley Mitchell

Original Show - The Real World: Ex-Plosion / Back to San Francisco

Challenge Championships: 2

  • Invasion of the Champions
  • Final Reckoning

Ashley returned on Vets and New Threats and had a good performance before losing an elimination. We saw a little bit of messy Ashley but not the full scope of her ability. I'd love to see her come right back on for 42.

Theo Campbell

Original Show - Love Island UK 3

Challenge Championships: 0

I wasn't impressed with Theo on Battle of the Eras, but he has made up for it on Vets and New Threats. He is constantly target #1 and has won 4 eliminations so far. I know Olivia is pregnant, and that is why I don't have her on this list, but I think Theo should return.

Michele Fitzgerald

Original Show - Survivor: Kaoh Rong

Challenge Championships: 0

Michele got 3rd place on Battle of the Eras, but she should have gotten 2nd. She really impressed a lot of people by winning dailies and eliminations. She took a break from Vets and New Threats, but she should be back for 42.

Will Gagnon

Original Show - Are You The One? 9

Challenge Championships: 0

Will was one of the "New Threats" on season 41 and he stood out the most. This man was full of drama but also competed. Last episode he got into it with pretty much the entire house. The Challenge always does well casting from "Are You The One?" so they need to start casting more of people from that show.

Nurys Mateo

Original Show - Are You The One? 6

Challenge Championships: 0

Nurys should have won a Challenge Championship on Battle for a New Champion. The 1-winner twist was stupid. She left early on Battle of the Eras, but it's time to bring her back. She has the potential to be a multi-time Challenge Champion at the end of her career.

Wes Bergmann

Original Show - The Real World: Austin

Challenge Championships: 3

  • The Duel
  • Rivals II
  • All-Stars 3

Wes was last seen on Double Agents, where he was sent home pretty early by Devin Walker. He has made it clear that he is retired from The Challenge; he has done other shows like "The Traitors" and "House of Villains." Wes would bring star power back and bring in viewers especially since I think Bananas and CT could take a break from a season.

Natalie Anderson

Original Show - Survivor: San Juan Del Sur

Challenge Championships: 0

I'm so sad we haven't seen Natalie since Double Agents. She won an elimination and then had to be taken out of the game for medical purposes. She is someone who could win a season, any season she is on.

Paulie Calafiore

Original Show - Big Brother 18

Challenge Championships

Paulie has been on two seasons since War of the Worlds II, and those were USA 2 and Battle of the Eras, and he was the first one eliminated on both. I think it's time to see "Villain Paulie" back on our screens. He knows how to run a house, and he can compete.

Michaela Bradshaw

Original Show - Survivor: Millennials vs Gen X

Challenge Championships: 0

Michaela should be on every season. I know she has a real job and has to build enough time off to come and film but she just makes great TV. I would love to see how she'd play with Jordan Wiseley, Zach Nichols, and some of these men.
