Are you a fan of Harry Potter--and would like to experience the idea of attending Hogwarts? The time is here as you will get the opportunity to create and customize your own quirky character!! The time takes place before Harry ever attended Hogwarts, and you will get the chance to see and play through the earlier time of the academy.

The game is available for mobile download on the app store and play store. Offered by Jam City Inc., the game was released on 24 April 2018. However, late this year of 2022--the game has reached major updates to patch and to polish players' gaming experience.

As biased and as meticulous H.P. fans can be, the game starts in Diagon Alley where you pick up school supplies--and make a crucial response where your first wand will choose you.

I wasn't expecting to start out on Privet Drive because the game lets you play as whatever you create yourself to be--and most definitely you don't play the game as Harry Potter of course. I had already forgotten about Privet Drive so that didn't bother me at all.

To my surprise, the game takes an amazing reference to the imagery of the Harry Potter movies. I was not disappointed with the effort the game has to offer. The intro of the game is well worth sitting through until "energy restoration" calls for a break.

The storyline of the game heavily relies on energy consumption and how much gold you've saved up. The energy is used to complete tasks within a quest by going to class. On the other hand, gold is used ideally for starting mini-games such as dueling, playing gobstones, or even having a meal with a friend.

The side quests in the game are enough to distract and stray anyone from the main storyline--and the mini-games do justice to keep you from breezing through the story too quickly.

The game plays as a choice-based platform. The game is influenced directly by the player's choices to answer and react to specific situations. As the Harry Potter movie has it, Professor Snape gave Harry a difficult time--and of course, Snape assumes the worst of your situation to deduct your house points.

As the game is choice-based influenced, the hardest feature to surpass is the dueling feature. The turn-based battle operates as a rock-paper-scissor tactic in which luck plays in favor of the amount of guessing whether to attack, defend, or counter. Thus, earning attribute points is far more important than simply leveling up. The attributive stats revolve around courage, empathy, and knowledge to advance you in dueling matches.

Besides having just a messenger owl, you are welcome to the exotic pet store where you will have the option to choose your pets from cats to rats, lizards to frogs, bats to spiders, your choice for the ideal pet(s) is endless. Along with the sidequests in helping Hagrid out, you will get the chance to take care and adopt feisty creatures to fulfill your creature-pedia.

The opportunity to play through Hogwarts as your own character with the chance of romance!! Like a typical high school, the game has 4 school years to play through. To unlock the dating feature, being in the 4th year is needed. No questions about it--dating is for older people. What is a sims if there isn't dating?

Choice-based, turn-based, and then time-based. The game operates on time which tests people of their patience. As good as the game is the most dreadful part is having the patience to recharge your energy. Another test is waiting for the storyline cooldown. Some quests will have you waiting before you can proceed. Is it worth the $2.99 (plus tax) of the impulse energy recharge? Do not be tempted by impatience--however, the support for the devs is always highly appreciated for future updates.

The game allows you to dress with pride!! With the inclusion of the LGBTQIA+ community, excitement rolls into the 4th year of Hogwarts for same-sex dating!!

Don't forget!! Your choice will affect your house points. Be sure to think of a rational response otherwise point deductions will strip you of winning hefty rewards at the end of every semester.
