RPG Elements
I've been playing video games since 1993 at the tender age of 2 years old. I started on the Super Nintendo, which was way ahead of its time looking back, and my favorite games were Super Mario, of course, and Final Fantasy III/VI. I know some of you are thinking "Final Fantasy, that's a little heavy for a two-year-old, isn't it" and looking back, it was, because I've played it again since then and t was a whole lot easier than I remember and there was a lot that I missed, but even as a toddler, I knew I loved RPG's, but it wasn't until later that I realized why.

5 Tips For Playing Better Gunslingers
Exploding onto the scene with the release of Ultimate Combat, there has been perhaps no more controversial class than the gunslinger. A breath of fresh air to some players, and a blatant breaking of genre conventions for others, the class is simultaneously loved and hated to similar degrees.

Gaming Systems as Storytelling Metaphors
I think a lot about storytelling because I write a lot and I’m a huge small-talker. I’ll chat your ear off for hours about the most mundane stuff because I find that I can find something passionate inside of the subjects. That’s why I think that in many videogames, the very systems of the game itself are metaphors for storytelling. What inspired this line of thinking in me was the SNES classic RPG (and greatest game of all time, I’ll fight over it) Chrono Trigger.

Lifetime of Gaming
I have been a gamer, well for most of my life really. I have two brothers and I, of course, am the baby of the family. My middle brother, Clinton, and I were avid gamers when I was growing up. We had to take turns playing on the different systems. Sometimes we played together like it was a world series for gaming systems. None the less, these were some of my favorite memories. We have also paid attention to the evolution of gaming systems and the graphics and play styles required for them.

As well as being able to recall other chats/emotes that other players have said to you.

Alone in the Ironlands: The Truths
The Truths of the Ironlands The weather is bleak. Rain and wind sweep in from the ocean. The winters are long and bitter. Monstrous beasts stalk the wild areas and isolated territories, protected fiercely by The Firstborn, yield threat to any who cross into these lands. Rumors of unspeakable horrors circle among small communities though most believe these are nothing more than stories to frighten children. One of the first settlers complained, “Only those made of iron dare live in this foul place”—and thus our land was named, The Ironlands.
