Fence in Tarkov – An Old, Wasted Gimmick
(Intro) Fence has always been an… interesting trader in Tarkov, to say the least. A mysterious fellow who for the longest time, was kind of just around as a trader of random items. For years, he had no quests, no real purpose, and no progression. Essentially, he acted as a sort of beta test for the flea market, if you will. Because any items sold to Fence could be purchased by well… anyone. As long as they were on his menu when that item was sold it would pop up in his inventory, they could get that item at an increased price. But as time has gone on, other new mechanics that were more flushed out were introduced, making his gimmick feel both old and somewhat useless. They have tried to give him purpose with new quests as well as linking him to your scav karma, but ultimately, he still feels underutilized to an extent. So today, let’s talk about Fence; his role early on, what he evolved into, how he could be potentially spruced up and what he could theoretically look like when 1.0 drops.

Battlefield 6 is Amazing, and I couldn’t be More Excited
(Intro) Battlefield 6’s open beta is awesome. This game from everything we have seen and played so far, looks to finally redeem the series with a massively successful title, barring things stay on the current path. From the reveal trailer to multiplayer deep dive, and now to the first open beta weekend, seeing the game played is one thing. But being able to put your hands on it and experience what the game feels like is something else. I mean, there is a reason why after only about less than twelve hours there were over three hundred thousand concurrent players on steam. Twice as much as 2042’s highest player count ever. This game could be something truly special. So, let’s break this open beta down; talk about gameplay, visuals, audio, performance and everything else and ask the question: is this game finally going to be what Battlefield fans have wanted so desperately of their beloved franchise?

Hardcore Tarkov – 30 Days Later
(Intro) As of the uploading of this video, it’s been a full month since the hardcore wipe began. And over those thirty days, a lot has happened. Some of it for the better of the game, others have me still scratching my head as to why changes were made so soon after the whole thing was released. Take Tarkov for What It Is
(Intro) For a lot of people, myself included, playing Tarkov these days has been much more than just the going On's that we’re so accustomed to. It isn’t so much about questing, grinding to level up, getting max traders or fighting other players with end game gear. For some, those elements are still fresh and new enough that they feel rewarding and inviting to fully engage with and commit to, however long it takes to reach your own personal goals. But for many others, the current gameplay loop even under the guise of a hardcore wipe, is proving to be somewhat of a slog. Which is why so many of us hope and pray that the 1.0 version of this game will be different enough that it feels new. In the meantime, I’ve recently been spending some time during my raids just appreciating the game for what it is. Despite all the problems, the drama, the BS and baggage that is associated with Tarkov, I’ve tried to put all of that to the side and just find the fun that this game can still provide even after thousands of hours. And there is still a surprising number of things that I still enjoy and appreciate in this game, which is something I encourage everyone to also try; just find the fun in this game, even if there isn’t much left to enjoy.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Review
So, in preparation for Call of Duty Black Ops 7, I went back to play Call of Duty Black Ops 6. To give a disclaimer, it’s best for newcomers to play all of the Black Ops games before diving into the recent releases; except for Black Ops 3, I have yet to find a connection made between that game and the others besides a mention of Raul Menendez from Black Ops 2.
