Virat Kohli backed off from the Royal Challengers Bangalore ahead of the Mega Auction 2022. The team of Chennai Super Kings failed to retain Faf du Plessis and even in the auction, they did not go big in order to chase him back. In a high-bid auction battle, RCB gained Faf. He was the perfect skipper option apart from Kohli and he was crowned so. He has captained the national side of South Africa for a good while. du Plessis has proved as a very bankable player in terms of runs and the amount of experience he brings to the table is exceptional. RCB qualified the previous season under stellar captaincy. They made it to Qualifier 2. The team has been performing pretty well in last three seasons considering their record. Faf can continue the better performance streaks, for sure.
The team of Rajasthan seems much dependent on Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis as far as batting is concerned. Dinesh Karthik and Glen Maxwell have proved that they are providing an unmatchable dimension to the lower batting order of the team. RCB presently lacks a few of the opening options and is very dominated by All Rounders. The batting order of the team looks quite weak as it is trying to dependent on a handful of players. The bowling attack of Bangalore is very balanced in terms of death overs ever since Harshal Patel emerged. There are a lot of dependable options that the team can turn to when it is about fast bowling. However, in the case of spinners, the team lack a quality one, someone who is experienced and can provide direction
The team of RCB has a lot of young talent to look forward to and some experience since both Faf and Virat will assuredly put their souls into the upcoming season but the onfield personal experience of each player counts and this is where the challengers can lack. The players need to be explored and there are just a few strategies that the camp of Royal Challengers must figure out as they aim to bag their maiden title
