'Star Wars Battlefront II': All You Need To Know About The Locations Teased In The Starfighter Assault Trailer
The time is almost here. On November 17th, Star Wars fans all over the world will finally be able to return to their beloved Galaxy Far, Far Away. But Battlefront II is unlike any other Star Wars game so far as the campaign mode doesn't star the heroes. Instead, the game will revolve around the battle of Endor, providing us with a chance to play as members of a specialist Imperial squad. By all accounts, the narrative will run from Return of the Jedi right through to The Last Jedi, and we've been told that the story is actually part of the official canon!

As Aliens turns 30, we look back fondly on arguably one of James Cameron's (and the Alien franchise's) best outings. So, surely a game based on the 1986 blockbuster couldn't fail to do well...right? In 2006 when SEGA announced that it had acquired the rights to the Alien franchise, our chest could've burst with Xenomorph happiness. However, seven years later when Aliens: Colonial Marines finally hit shelves, we felt like Charlize Theron having a spaceship dropped on us. Sadly Aliens: Colonial Marines looked more like the Alien Atari 2600 game from 1982 than the slick cinematic game we had hoped for. This is what went wrong down on LV-426!

In Celebration of 'Marvel Avengers Alliance'
Today's the day. Fans of Playdom's popular Avengers Alliance game are in mourning. The game's days have come to an end; today, on September 30th, Avengers Alliance will finish forever. Players are reacting in anger and disappointment, particularly over the fact Playdom has refused to give any refunds. They have one last Special Op to complete, an event that will give them the game's final superhero (Adam Warlock) and wrap up the story they've been part of four four years. It's a sad twist in the game's tale, particularly shocking given Avengers Alliance 2 only came out earlier this year. It's likely as heart-breaking for developers as it is upsetting for players.
