Play Ball?: The Sad State of Sports Games
As one can surmise from my years' worth of writing on the subject, I am a devout gamer. Much like my taste in movies and music, I can find something to like in absolutely every game genre. Even though I love getting wrapped up in an engrossing story or getting thrown into an open world that goes off in every direction, sometimes I just want the simple pleasure that comes from sports competition. Having completed writing my third year's worth of reviews for the "Defunct Games Golf Club" (to be posted beginning this spring), I couldn't help but look at the state of sports video games now compared to the past and be upset.

2,000 Years of 'Final Fantasy'
Today I beat the first Final Fantasy (FF) game—albeit in the re-released Final Fantasy Origins for PlayStation 1 (PS1) format—and I feel accomplished. It's weird, I didn't really benefit anything from this, I am no closer to owning my dream computer, my wallet is not a nanometer thicker, and—at least for the time being—I've made no new social connections due to this. Yet, for whatever reason, finishing that game, reaching that all too distant credits screen, really filled me with joy.

'The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess' (Great in Concept, Underwhelming in Execution)
I wish to preface this by making it clear that this is simply my impression of the game, never having played the GameCube or Wii versions, and only getting into Zelda as of roughly two years ago, having first played Wind Waker HD and Skyward Sword before this. Also, it was by no means a bad game, it just wasn't everything I hoped or thought it would be. This is not intended to disrespect or invalidate anyone who enjoys this game. If you love it, that is great for you and I hope you continue to enjoy it. Now that we have that out of the way, let's get down to business!

Computer Games - Comfort or Addiction?
My mother played solitaire. She had four children, a husband, and a part time job, but whenever she had what is laughingly called a “spare moment” she would sit at the dining room table with a deck of cards. Klondike, Free Cell, Pyramid—she played them all.

From Small Beginnings...
In a world where many feel forgotten and left to live mundane lives through their repetitive jobs that they have no love or passion for, we come across something not entirely new but increasingly rare. Something that has the power to change the lives of those around them. We come across a group of travellers who, unbeknownst to them, are about to go on a journey together that will break traditions as they meet new friends, face off against strange yet powerful foes, build a life of adventure and most importantly decide the fate of their world. However; that is a long way away and before that we need to take ourselves back to the small beginnings that our adventurers come from. Rather than give everyones long detailed history we will let you discover it as we go along like our adventurers did. The question is where the best place is to begin these chronicles, and I think the answer to that lies in iron willed fighter Jessica Windrivver.Standing tall, fresh from her travels across the western roads of Faûren, Jessica Windrivver returns to the city of Neverwinter in search of, lets say, a particular type of traveller. Surprisingly quick Jessica was able to rustle together a group of willing travellers to accompany her and some mining supplies to the frontier town of Phandalin. Even though at first the travellers didn't think much of Jessica's, now infamously, serious nature they could see the need for help in her piercing green eyes. Or if we are being totally honest, it was probably the 75 Gold Pieces she offered each of them with a promise of 150 more Gold Pieces each for successful delivery of the mining gear to a mine near Phandalin.Either way, it did the trick.

Review of 'Assassin's Creed Syndicate' Xbox 1S
Summary Ubisoft has launched yet another game in the hit series of Assassin's Creed, which to my delight has yet more indulgent storylines, missions, new characters, new time lines, and yes, more action! This time set in the year of the industrial revolution of the 1700s.

Ways to Make an Interesting House in 'The Sims'
Oh, the Sims. A franchise that began in 2000 and has created years of creativity and imagination for people all over the globe. With its quirky characters and home design system, I have personally been able to live out my fantasies or create plain chaos for my sims. My sim can be poor or live in a mansion with 7 cats, be a superstar, or live a single, party lifestyle while attending university or traveling to the local club meeting supernatural creatures. Anything is possible. One of my favorite aspects however has been that I can design a home in any way that I would like. Motherlode and Rosebud always come in handy when you are desiring that marble hot tub and stereo system... if only real life were like the sims! haha. Within this post, I would like to share photos of some of my favorite home designs that I have created within my game as this game has allowed me to spark an interest in interior design and architecture {whether it is realistic or to the extreme).

My KH3 Wish
You know what I really want in Kingdom Hearts 3? I want the girls looking out for each other. I want the first words on a restored Namine’s lips to be of Xion. Of the girl who had been forced into a terribly unfair decision, and faced it with such strength and goodness. I don’t want her shy and thankful and docile, as always. I want her determined and unwavering as she restores the memories of the girl who didn’t deserve to be forgotten. I want her coming back furious, raging against the unfairness of it all.
