'Final Fantasy Dissidia NT' Review
Suffice it to say, I harbour a sentimental attachment to this one. Last year, I was one of 40 Final Fantasy fans invited to attend an exclusive evening in London with Ichiro Hazama, the man at the helm of Dissidia NT’s production team. After the usual Q&A, I was the fool who challenged him to a match of his own game; “You’re going down, son!” I believe were my badly-chosen words. A misguided decision, I thought, as he thoroughly put me in my place and mercilessly secured a clean victory within minutes. From the moment it was announced, I jumped at every opportunity I had to sample Dissidia NT, attending the show-and-tell in London, signing up for PSN beta tests, and even adding the original Dissidia to my digital Playstation library. By the time NT was finally released for PS4, I was already thoroughly familiar with this port of Dissidia’s latest manifestation that, up until NT, was exclusive to Japanese gaming arcades. The day finally came to pass, and all my rampant premonitions of what Square-Enix and Koei had cooked up for us were put to rest, not through nostalgia, but in an ambivalent display of both joy and disappointment.

'Bendy and The Ink Machine'
Bendy and the Ink Machine is one of the coolest games that has come out this year. If you follow the YouTube gaming community like I do you must have seen this game around. It is beloved by the YouTube community for its amazing art style and incredible gameplay. This is a horror game and an interesting one at that. It has a very innocent feel at first, but the more you play, the more sinister the game becomes. In this, I will tell you about all the chapters that have happened in each. I will also tell you about the characters, as well as my theories for chapter 4.

'Alien: Isolation' Review
I’ve always had to live with the lasting misfortune of not being among the ill-fated many who first saw Alien on a fateful evening in 1979; I dream about being among the unwitting masses who saw that movie in all its fresh, unsaturated glory. But amidst all that regret, the good folks at Sega swooped in with a very suitable emulation—Alien: Isolation is, in no uncertain terms, the best hope millennials like myself have of experiencing the original onslaught of space terror we were so sadly denied. Built from the ground up as an interactive Ridley Scott simulator, Alien: Isolation is a truly uncanny testament to the ambience and tone of the franchise’s thematic origins. Every element from story to setting to lore to music to lighting to props is there, in exactly the right place contributing beautifully to a genuinely authentic Alien experience.

Heart of the Machine
What does it mean to care? How, in a face-less digital world can a medium simulate the thoughts and feelings only conveyed between two individuals face-to-face? Is it possible? Should it be? Questions such as these are what I believe the video game company Quantic Dream and creator David Cage tried to answer in their recent work Detroit: Become Human. Critics have given it mixed reviews, as is the trend for Quantic's IPs but the inquiry of gameplay value or graphics pixelation isn't what drove me to truly value the game itself. What gripped my heart most of all was a little girl.

10 Best Gifts for Gamers in 2018
Getting gifts for gamers can be, admittedly, kind of tough. There are so many options out there, and so many different types of gamers. Most people fall into one of four categories: Xbox lovers, PlayStation gamers, Nintendo fans, or PC gamers. Lots of people play more than one of these, but everyone has their mainstay. I, for example, mainly play on Nintendo consoles, but also play a lot on my PC, and plan on getting a PS4 Pro soon. But if I could only have one, I'd probably pick my Nintendo Switch. My birthday isn't that far away, so I certainly wouldn't mind if the important people in my life picked up one of these to gift me. If you know a gamer who has a birthday coming up, or another important holiday, consider one of the following.

'Mario Bros.' Review
Mario Bros., not to be confused with the 1985 Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) game Super Mario Bros., was a platform game developed for arcades and by Nintendo in July 1983. I wasn't born around the time it was released. In 2016, Mario Bros. was one of 30 games included in the NES Classic. When I first played it, it was so much different than the other Mario games I've played in the past. It was not an easy game and the phases got difficult as the game progressed.

Video-games: Good or Bad?
Video-games are bad for your eyes and health - said by every parent ever. We’ve all heard it before, we've all been there before: enjoying a good video-game late at night and wanting to just keep going and going. Irritating pleading from the mother to get away from the game and do something worthwhile; the urge for “just one more level Mum”. However, your favourite screen-time and hobby may not be as horrible and dangerous as mothers claim it to be.

The Future for 'Fortnite'
The Beginning The original Fortnite logo from the 2011 VGA trailer Fortnite has just in recent months became a household name. Regardless of who you are, you have heard the name, but few people realize its origins. Epic Games developed one of the biggest game series from the mid 2000s to to early 2010s, Gears of War. After Gears of War 3, the devs at Epic were looking to do something new. This is where the idea for Fortnite was born in 2011. The first trailer for Fortnite was shown at VGA 2011 as a survival shooter game. No one could have guessed what it would become by 2017.
