'Farm Frenzy 3: Russian Village'

I don't know why, but I have found myself addicted to this Farm Frenzy series despite its horrible effects and endless glitches. I think I might like the weird sense that I'm somehow running a business that can't go in debt. Also, I kinda like the bears for some reason. The excitement of never knowing when they are going to drop .. unless you already played that level of coarse.

"How do I get the bears to eat the honey?"

Question: "I can't get the bears to eat the honey, they just keep walking around."

Answer: I had the same problem! It wasn't explained well enough in the game. The first problem is that they let you buy honey before they let you buy the oil mining bear. Only the special expensive bears eat the honey, not the regular ones. They just thrash at your live stock. The second problem is that the game doesn't explain when the bear is supposed to eat the honey. They have to be standing still waiting for the honey in order to eat it. Pretty picky eaters if you ask me, has to be the exact moment they want it.

A good way to time it out is to send the helicopter to get the honey when the bear is mining for oil. It's times decently well for all the helicopters, but is a little late for the lowest upgrade.

"Can I make any bear into an oil hunting bear?"

Question: "I've noticed that if I sell the oil bear right away that his oil equipment gets left behind. Is there any way that I can get a regular bear to use it?"

Answer: No. I've tried so many times and in so many ways to get a normal bear to turn into a oil bear. The truth is that the equipment gets left behind as some sort of glitch. Once you sell the bear the equipment is worthless too.

Such a waste, it was probably expensive :(

"How do I make the rockets fly?"

Question: "I can't seem to build the rockets, I have the pieces but nothing happens when I click the launch pad."

Answer: The same thing happened to me, I was so confused. After you have built the pieces, you need to use the helicopter buy gears. Once you have gears in your inventory shack you can then click on the launch pad and it will build the rocket. If you have enough pieces and gears, the rocket will launch by itself too, and leave you lots of money that goes directly into your bank.

The problem is that a hint doesn't show up when you click on the launch pad. This has to be a game design mistake, all of the other factories and even the well have a hint that pops up. The launch pad is also placed right over well upgrade button... so I found this part frustrating to figure out what I was doing wrong.

"Level 89: I can't get gold."

Question: "I can't seem to get a gold on level 89 for Farm Frenzy Russian Roulette 3 on iPad. Any help would be greatly appreciated."

Answer: This is one I can't relate to. All I know is that you have to tear down the sewing machine in order to get gold. If for any reason you can't pick up the gold after that, then there must be a glitch on the iPad version. Sorry. My advice would be to ask for either a patch to fix it or a refund.

Despite my weird addiction to this series, it's just simply not a good game. This specific game has less annoying glitches like sudden crashing, but it's still a glitchy game. The worst part is this 3 out of 10 probably isn't the lowest review I would give in this series... the first Farm Frenzy 3 (the one were you go around the world) I would give a 2 out of 10.

There is certainly no denying that people are still playing the series even though the quality is lacking. There are dozens of versions of the game including: Farm Frenzy: Gone Fishing, Farm Frenzy: Ancient Rome and Farm Frenzy: Viking Heroes. Not to mention the original Farm Frenzy, 2, and 3.
