'League of Legends': What Happens When You Hit Level 1000?
For many of us, it's crazy to think that someone would hit level 1000, but it's happened. A challenger level player has reached the milestone and has a crazy good looking emblem as shown above, and the Chinese league player took just six months to reach the milestone. The player, whose name translates roughly to BigBigBigWatermelon, plays on a small server only accessible to Chinese players and is challenger tier.

Kicking Up a Fuss Works
So, the first thing I posted on this website has been rendered somewhat redundant less than a week after I posted it. Good, that'll show my worth as a freelance writer. Regardless, I'm honestly over the moon that Toys for Bob delayed Spyro: Reignited Trilogy by about a month and a half, with the game now seeing a November 13 release.

Retro Games That Need to Be Remade
Old school gamers rejoice: Retro video games rule once more! For the longest time, the video game industry was singularly obsessed with the most modern gaming technology and software in a race to produce the most advanced consoles and games. It hasn't been until recent years that some game developers have realized the nostalgic power of their greatest hits from years past. While some producers, especially Nintendo, have re-released some vintage games, they tend to ignore the cult hits in favor of popular franchises. In addition, seldom do any developers release remakes or remasters of their classic games. While I'm happy to play any re-releases of my favorite vintage games, the untapped potential for graphical reworking and bug-fixing is immense. Here are just a few of the many retro games that need to be remade.

10 Worst Switch Games So Far. Top Story - August 2018.
If you know me, you know how obsessed I am with my Nintendo Switch. I love the little system; getting to play current gen games on both the big screen and in my hands is an awesome feature. The Switch has a library of some amazing games, too, like Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey. Both of those were two of the best Switch games of 2017. But with the good must come the bad.

Can We Trust "Big Name" Games' Journalism Outlets?
As everyone in the gaming community has heard by now, gaming journalism giant IGN recently fired an employee for plagiarism. This firing has lead to the discovery of a pervasive pattern of plagiarism from this employee and the subsequent removal of many of his reviews. While this is certainly unacceptable behavior from a reputable journalism outlet, it's not the only reason to be critical of their reviews. IGN and similar journalism outlets, have a history of padding reviews with fluff and giving games a much higher score than they sometimes deserve.

'Road Redemption' Made My Dreams Come True
We all had that favorite video game growing up. To be fair, we all had more than one, usually segmented off into the varying genres old consoles and computers offered us gamers. (It's bemusing but I've become so hoary that I didn't initially realize there are plenty of adults who can't relate to what I am saying, game era wise.) For example, in my youth, Shadow Warrior was my favorite FPS (until Quake 2 came out), and Earthbound was my favorite JRPG, while Fallout 1 & 2 were my favorite WRPGs. On my Nintendo, I was addicted to shooting baddies as The Punisher and spent many an hour grinding away at the very first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game, which was brilliantly difficult, set in a (fairly) open world, and (sadly) unlike every other Turtles game to come after.

Why Buy an Xbox One in 2018?
I recently upgraded my graphics card in my PC. I figured it needed an update from the trusty GTX 750 Ti I'd been using for years. So now, I'm officially a member of current gen graphics, even if it's the lowest end of modern graphics with the 1050 Ti. As I was playing Killer Instinct, an absolutely fantastic fighting game which was originally an Xbox One exclusive, it suddenly dawned on me that there wasn't really a reason to play the Xbox One that was nestled away in my brother's bedroom.
