Middle-Earth: A Gamers' Paradise
As many of you fans know Amazon has recently acquired the rights to Tolkien's masterpiece The Lord of the Rings trilogy. When I heard this news, it got me thinking about the video game side of the business. Growing up during the original trilogy, I always wished for a more immersive game than what was rolled out at the time of the original movies. The only games close to what I was looking for were the games named after the second and third movies. But even they lacked that something extra I craved.

The Best MMO of All Times
MMORPGs keep coming out every year; they are flashy, beautiful and vivid. They promise unique gameplay and features you have never seen before. But the newcomers often can’t compete with the older titles, even if oldies haven’t been updated for ages. It may come as a surprise, but it’s often not nostalgia or general distaste for everything new. These games became cult classic for a good reason. And the reason is they are really legendary and top-notch. So let’s gather round our imaginary bonfire and remember these feats of game design, writing, and community building.

'Resident Evil 2 Remake: One-Shot Demo' Review!
I didn't know what to expect when playing the Resident Evil 2 Remake: One-Shot Demo for PS4. I knew there would be a 30-minute timer (which you can go back to play if you create another PS4 account shhhh) but other than that I was clueless.

'Resident Evil 2' (2019) Demo Thoughts
If you have ever played a survival horror game growing up in the 90's, you had to come across a series called Resident Evil. In 1996, Capcom released a game in Japan called Biohazard, which eventually made it to the states as Resident Evil. The survival horror genre was born with this original title that was released on the Playstation console. The concept of survival horror is to pit the player against challenges with scarce resources. This game specifically used zombies and other biological weapons as enemies in the game. You were constantly pressed to decide whether to fight or flight, depending upon resources that you gain throughout the game. Furthermore, you are tasked to manage a limited inventory in which you would need to decide on what tools and weapons to carry. As you progress deeper into the story line, the creatures that you encounter become increasingly more difficult to fight. Lastly, your save states in the game were based upon finding ink ribbons to save your game onto sparingly limited typewriters.

My Journey to Gaming
This time last year, I scoffed at those who played Dungeons and Dragons, and outside of a few encounters that are best not talked about here, those who played video games were not looked at kindly. Then things changed. My friend introduced to the magical realms of DnD and now instead of partying it up on Saturday nights, I am laughing and setting imaginary fires on a kingdom that elves have declared war on.

Anyone that plays video games at a somewhat-serious level knows the importance of having your own custom gaming PC. If you're someone who likes the occasional game of Madden, or simply likes to play games every once in a while, obviously a gaming computer might be a bit excessive.

My Arcade Archives Wishlist
Hamster is a wonderful company! They are in the business of bringing games to the Switch, and other systems, games that I not only saw in the arcades, but also in the corner of any gas station or some grocery stores. I have such fond memories of a lot of games, and not only is it Hamster, but Johnny Turbo and, to a small degree, Sega, are bringing back the classics at a reasonable price. But here is a list of games I'd love to see.

'Minecraft' Beta on Xbox - How to Guide
Minecraft offers its Xbox and Windows PC users the ability to join their beta program to test out upcoming versions of the game. This opt-in beta allowed me and my viewers to play the new underwater edition of the game early! It's not terribly difficult to join the beta, but Xbox does not make it very straight forward either. If you are interested in the Minecraft Beta and playing the latest unreleased version early, watch my YouTube video above or follow the directions found below.
