Lost Affection
A development that has only worsened as I find myself growing up is a disenchantment with video games. I am currently 20 years old. Now some will say, “Oh wow, you’re growing up! Welcome to adulthood, dumbass!” and those, while being a bit dickish, would not be wrong, it doesn’t make it any less saddening to me. I find myself on occasion feeling sentimental, lamenting of days where I was totally fixated by the screen.

5 Tips For Playing Better Gnomes
Gnomes tend to be thought of as a mixture of irritating tricksters and half-mad inventors, with a hefty dash of poor impulse control just for spice. However, there is a lot going on with gnomes just beneath the surface. For players looking to step outside the stereotypes of this inherently magical race, there are all sorts of wild possibilities for who (and what) you could become.

My Favorite Video Game Systems
15. SNES Classic The SNES Classic is a great system. I think it's definitely for a nostalgic gamer. I love the system. I never had a SNES back in the day, so I was happy to preorder and pick this up. My favorite games to play here are Zelda: A Link to the Past, Street Fighter II, SMW 1 and 2, F Zero, and Kirby Super Star Saga. I wish they'd allow this to be played with wifi.

I Like 'Skyward Sword'
I still kinda like The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. That's right. You heard me. Allow me to explain. Skyward Sword was my first Zelda game so it holds a special place in my heart. It was the 25th anniversary of the series, and the hype around the game was pretty real. So I figured this would be the perfect time to get into the series. And it worked. If it weren’t for Skyward Sword, I probably would’ve never played Ocarina of Time, Link Between Worlds, Wind Waker, Breath of the Wild or even the original Zelda on the NES. I never would have fallen in love with this world and these characters or played these much better games. So let's get into it.

Pokémon is a franchise that continues to add to the ever increasing roster of "Pocket Monsters" for players to catch, train and battle in the games. With over 20 years of history, the primary games have been released on pretty much every handheld console created by Nintendo. Starting with the original Game Boy in 1996 and through to the Nintendo 3DS over seven generations of the game have been released. But, Nintendo announced that the eighth generation of the games will be released on their latest console, the Nintendo Switch.

Writer Create Thy Self
"You have such great characterization." That's a compliment I get a lot for my novels and short stories. Part of that is because going into a story, I know who the characters are, and their complete backgrounds. Recently I signed up for a new RPG with a friend of a friend, and the DM sent out the character sheets. My first thought was why is this in a foreign language. My next thought was that my friend had better be prepared to help me. He was and did. And I still messed up.
