Are videogames easier now or did we just grow up?
I have been an avid gamer since I can even remember. My first game was Sonic the Hedgehog 2, played through an emulator on my father's old computer. It was 1998 and I was 5-years-old, at that time, I was only there because of how good it looked to me. All the colours, the sparkles and how fast you could go. I didn't care for the rings or how many times I could beat Eggman's evil creations.

A Guide on Increasing Download Speed on PS5
One amazing thing that has come along with PS5 is its speed. Nobody likes to wait when it comes to downloading games. The SSD card enables the optimized games to download quickly, cutting down the loading screens completely. However, an SSD doesn’t help much if your internet connection is poor.

Best Boss Themes Legend of Zelda
A Link to the Past: Original Hyrule Castle Theme A Link to the past brings us the original Hyrule castle theme. I know this isn’t a boss fight but the fact is it builds up to each of the Ganondorf boss fights following this game because it is part of Zelda history. Entering Hyrule Castle signifies approaching the final boss: Ganondorf himself. It builds the anticipation as you eagerly anticipate one of the hardest fights of the Zelda franchise. It also means the end of the game is near, after all you have worked for.

5 Things I Learned Playing Apex Legends
You may have died so many times you think you suck at this game. You may also be mistaken. Every video game, much like every skill in life, takes quite a lot of practice to get good. More than that, you may have been missing out on having the basic skills down. The firing range will always be there for practicing how to shoot. This is especially true if you know how to turn the dummies into live shooters, making target practice much more realistic. Chances are, you have played so many games you have good aim but low confidence. Not only that but it is time to revisit the basics.

Amnesia: Rebirth
Back in 2010, Amnesia: The Dark Descent was released to immense acclaim. Before Amnesia, the survival horror genre seemed to be in a bit of a slump, with some... divisive Silent Hill games since 3, and Resident Evil moving more and more towards action shooter than survival horror. Amnesia: The Dark Descent's effect on the genre and the industry was incredible. It took a neglected, some might even say dying, genre and injected it with new life. Amnesia: The Dark Descent revitalized survival horror with its tight writing, effective creature design, and creative use of lighting. After its release, it seemed we were flooded with new survival horror games every other week! Games like Outlast, Slender: The Arrival, and Five Nights At Freddy's followed in Amnesia's footsteps, presenting games that cultivate a sense of dread by combining limited resources and management with an inability to fight back against the monsters. In short, the first Amnesia game sparked a wave of imitators and successors both good and bad, and its influence on the genre is still felt today.
