Revolution
Dance Dance Revolution. Remember it? I murdered that game. No, seriously. I was the freakin’ champ of DDR. Every Friday, with a pocket full of quarters, I hit the Santa Monica arcade and boom boom bop, boom boom bam! I drew crowds of hundreds. People flooded the place, spilling into skee-ball, standing on top of race car games, just to watch my feet. Fast feet Eddie. That’s what they called me.

The Real Ghost of Tsushima
Episode 1 ghost of Tsushima Welcome to first episode We as a race are the stories that we leave behind -for example, you may know your grandparents, but do you know your great grandparents? What about their parents? Or their parents? You may not have ever met them but you know they were here at one point or you wouldn't be here listening to this and if you know of them it is because you were told about them. Maybe your mother or father told you a story about them, maybe you found records of them, maybe they even passed down objects of theirs, heirlooms, down through the generations until they reached your hands. The point is, the only way we know of these people we have never met is by hearing or reading their stories because that is what lives on after we go.

In the Shock of All Shocks, the New Pokémon Game Looks... New
It can be hard to see, when you’re in the Pokémon community, that the main line games are sadly similar. Part of the reason for this, I think, is that the Pokémon series gets such colorful and unexpected spin-offs. Everyone remembers Pokémon Go, of course, but do you remember Pokémon Ranger, the series of games that mostly involved drawing circles around a wild Pokémon really fast? Or that Magikarp themed tap game from a few years ago?

5 Things I Love & Hate About The Ace Attorney Franchise
The Ace Attorney franchise contain some of my favourite games. Loosely based on the Japanese court system, you become a finger-pointing, semi-bluffing, turnabout lawyer. The majority of the games focus on Phoenix Wright with other spin-offs including his ancestors and his childhood friend, Miles Edgeworth. I think it’s a wonderful series because it’s gone on to do so much. Normally visual novels don’t make much impact outside of Japan, but Ace Attorney opened the doors to many mystery and visual novel games to me.

The Almost-Death of Video Games
When the words “Video games” are spoken, tons of images come to mind; from Mario saving the princess to fantastical worlds that look so realistic you could almost reach out and touch them. Nostalgia for the janky consoles of the past, and bright-eyed wonder at the technological achievements of the present. But, when you hear the word “video games”, you don’t think of an industry on the brink of collapse, struggling to survive. But that’s exactly what happened in 1983.

More Than a Game
My first game console was a Nintendo NES, I was around three or four years old, and I’d sit cross-legged on the carpeted floor in our living room with my grandmother. To this very day, I still remember the feel of that controller in my hands and the glee I felt watching Mario jump over those turtles, grow from those mushrooms, and get his beloved Princess Peach. It’s hard to believe that that was thirty years ago.

How Playing DnD Rekindled my Love for Writing . Top Story - February 2021.
There’s a lot I can say about the last year of my life but most of it would revolve around the existential dread brought on by Covid and let’s be real, there’s been enough articles about that. So instead of doing that, I want to highlight something good that came out of my lockdown experience...I started playing Dungeons and Dragons!!
