FINAL FANTASY

Final Fantasy is a long-running series of role-playing video games developed and published by Square Enix.

The Final Fantasy series centers around a band of courageous heroes battling to save the world from a variety of enemies. The Complete Story Line for the main Final Fantasy games is as follows:

Final Fantasy I (1987): Four Light Warriors are chosen by the four elemental crystals to save the world from the evil Garuda and his Warlock minions. The four Light Warriors journey to various regions to restore the power of the crystals and ultimately defeat Garuda.

Final Fantasy II (1988): The sequel to Final Fantasy I follows the story of Firion and his allies on their quest to free the oppressed people of Fynn from the oppressive rule of the evil Emperor Mateus. The heroes battle to recover the four elemental orbs and ultimately defeat the Emperor.

Final Fantasy III (1990): The third installment of the series follows the tale of the Onion Knight and his comrades, led by the Princess Sara, as they seek to protect the world from the intruding Fiends. The heroes battle their way through various dungeons and ultimately save the world from the Fiends.

Final Fantasy IV (1991): Cecil Harvey leads a band of warriors on a quest to protect the world from the evil Baron of Baron. The heroes battle their way through a variety of obstacles and ultimately defeat the Baron and his minions.

Final Fantasy V (1992): Five young warriors battle an evil sorcerer known as Exdeath in an epic quest to protect the world from destruction. The heroes battle through various regions and ultimately succeed in restoring peace to the world.

Final Fantasy VI (1994): Set in a steampunk world on the brink of destruction, a band of heroes must work together to save the planet from the malicious ambitions of a mad Emperor and an ancient evil. The heroes battle their way through a variety of regions and ultimately defeat Kefka and the Emperor, restoring balance to the world.

Final Fantasy VII (1997): The most popular entry in the series stars Cloud Strife and his allies as they struggle to protect the planet from an alien threat known as Sephiroth. The heroes battle through various territories and ultimately defeat Sephiroth, restoring peace to the world.

Final Fantasy VIII (1999): Squall Leonhart and his friends join forces to fight an evil sorceress known as Edea. The heroes battle through various locations and ultimately triumph over Edea, restoring peace to the world.

Final Fantasy IX (2000): Zidane Tribal and his allies must work to save the world from the ambitions of an evil sorcerer named Kuja. The heroes battle their way through a variety of regions and ultimately succeed in restoring balance to the world.

Final Fantasy X (2001): The tenth installment of the series follows the story of Tidus and his friends in an effort to protect the world from Sin, an entity threatening to destroy all of Spira. The heroes battle their way through a variety of environments and ultimately vanquish Sin, restoring peace to the world.

Final Fantasy XI (2002): The first MMORPG in the series follows the story of a group of adventurers as they battle an evil deity known as Shadow Lord. The heroes battle their way through various landscapes and ultimately vanquish Shadow Lord, restoring peace to the world.

Final Fantasy XII (2006): Set in the troubled land of Ivalice, the heroes join forces with the resistance to battle the oppressive Empire. The heroes battle their way through a variety of locations and ultimately succeed in driving the Empire from Ivalice, restoring peace to the world.

Final Fantasy XIII (2009): Lightning and her allies must work to save the world from a powerful being known as the Fal'Cie. The heroes battle their way through a variety of regions and ultimately triumph over the Fal'Cie, restoring balance to the world.

Final Fantasy XIV (2010): Taking place in the world of Hydaelyn, the heroes must battle the primal Bahamut in an effort to save the world from destruction. The heroes battle their way through a variety of locations and ultimately vanquish Bahamut, restoring peace to the world.

Final Fantasy XV (2016): Noctis and his companions join forces to battle the evil empire of Niflheim and take back the throne of Lucis. The heroes battle their way through various areas and ultimately defeat Niflheim, restoring peace to the world.

Final Fantasy XVI (2021): Released in 2021, the sixteenth installment of the series follows Reiss and her allies in an effort to restore the lost kingdom of Valisthea and save the world from a menacing force known as The Forsaken. The heroes battle their way through a variety of environments and ultimately defeat The Forsaken, restoring peace to the world.
