Black Myth Wukong: story background compendium: Prologue
Black wukong story: Prologue

Prologue
The prologue and the time period up to the first chapter is five hundred years long, and the story that takes place is actually much more complex than what is shown, except that because of the short length (and the old monkey's intentional concealment), only a small portion of the battle between Wukong and Erlangshen is told.
I'll start at the beginning.
After fetching scriptures, Sun Wukong didn't want to become a Buddha, so he resigned from his position as a Buddha and went back to the Mountain of Flowers and Fruits.
However both Heaven and the Spirit Mountain panicked. This is a bratty and untamed and quite a means of connections of the monkey, he set up his own mountain, is not going to rebel? So the two parties decided to cooperate for the time being and kill Sun Wukong first.
The Heavenly Court sent 100,000 heavenly soldiers, commanded by Erlang Shen, accompanied by the four heavenly kings, giant spirit god and so on.
Buddhism, on the other hand, sent the Black Bear Spirit, the Yellow Wind Monster, the Yellow Eyebrows, the Hundred Eyes Demon Monarch and the King Bull Demon. What these demons had in common was that they all submitted to Buddhism on the way to fetch scriptures.
Among them, the Bull Demon King and the Black Bear Spirit were actually reluctant to go. The Bull Demon King because of brotherly love and the Black Bear Spirit because he was afraid of the Monkey King. But in the end, they had to go.
Thus the scene in the prologue, where Sun Wukong and Erlangshen have a big fight and mention that they are going to fight in the mountain, only to have the tight-banded spell, which has long since been removed, suddenly appear, causing Sun Wukong to crash to the ground.
In fact, inside the mountain, several demons sent out by Buddhism were already waiting. Each of these demons was tricky for the Sun Wukong and invited helpers to pass. And then together they surrounded Sun Wukong, Sun Wukong really had no luck.
The Wukong lost the battle, and his cloak was knocked off, and he fell all over the Mountain of Flowers and Fruits, turning into all kinds of demons and monsters. The Golden Cudgel was thrown to the Water Curtain Cave and left to the Heavenly Orders.
Sun Wukong was very understanding of King Cow Demon's choice, and later died in King Cow Demon's arms, his last words before death were “What I leave behind after I die must not be touched”.
After his death, the Wukong's body was transformed into six roots: the eye sees joy, the ear hears anger, the nose smells love, the tongue tastes thought, the body itself worries, and the mind views desire.
The first five of these things “eyes, ears, nose, tongue and body” were divided by Buddhism to five monsters as a reward. The last one, “desire for opinion”, is nowhere to be found.
In fact, Wukong's “opinion” was divided into two. One of them exists on the body of the Great Sage as a tightening spell, and this “intention” is the “intention” imposed on him by the Buddha.
The other is Wukong's original “will”, which is protected by a person who has the same experience as Wukong.
Which one of these “intentions” is obtained is the key to the branching of the ending.
After Sun Wukong's death, Heaven's Court and Spirit Mountain's plan is not yet over.
They knew that Sun Wukong had made a lot of friends in the Heavenly Court back then, and in order to prevent Wukong from resurfacing, they decided to get rid of some of the immortals who had helped Sun Wukong out of personal relationships. These plans were also arranged for the five demons who got the six roots above. The details will be mentioned in subsequent chapters.
Certain less powerful deities, such as Chen Long Yin Hu Shen Monkey Xu Dog, were directly relegated to the mortal world.
This is generally the content of the prologue, and the backstory of the first five chapters will be told next, chapter by chapter.
