This is Why Spirits Remain among Us

A Few Reasons

By AnnmaryFPublished about a year ago 3 min read

Why do some spirits remain on Earth? In other words, why do certain entities stay in the physical realm instead of completing their transition to the spirit world? The most common reasons include ignorance, confusion, fear (especially fear of hell), a strong attachment to certain living individuals, places, or even to substances like alcohol, tobacco, or food.

Moreover, unfinished business, in a certain sense, often forces spirits to remain 'here.' There are also those who are kept in the physical world by the desire for revenge. Through conversations with such spirits via hypnotized patients, it has been revealed that some individuals were so convinced during their lives that there is nothing after death that they simply did not see the family members or guides who came for them. Instead, they wandered aimlessly and confusedly, and this state of ignorance often lasted for years.

They generally deny being dead. A hypnotherapist reported that when he asked them about it, they responded something like: 'If someone is dead, then they're dead! I’m here now, and I’m just as alive as you are!' When the therapist brought them back to the moment of their death and asked them to look at their lifeless physical body, they refused, claiming either that they were sleeping or that the body belonged to someone else.

It is very common for individuals who die suddenly and unexpectedly to experience a confused state of consciousness. Some remain at the site of their death for hours, days, or even sometimes years. A young musician who died in a car accident stayed at the scene and watched as his body was placed in a plastic bag, not fully understanding the significance of the event. Later, feeling lonely, he went to the lobby of the motel where he used to perform, and was startled when no one noticed him or spoke to him. He even joked about it later, saying, 'I felt like Casper!

Those who were raised in a deeply religious environment often feared that they would end up in hell. These terrified spirits frequently rejected the helpers who appeared to them at the time of their death in desperation.

One of the strongest connections that may tie spirits to the physical world is addiction, whether to alcohol, smoking, or other passions like overeating. If someone dies while being enslaved by such an addiction, after death, they immediately feel an irresistible urge to satisfy their dependency or passion. They do not wish to transition into the spirit world; instead, they are blindly fixated on fulfilling this pressing need. They fail to notice spirit guides or their leader; the Brilliant Light remains unnoticed. Spirits who are captive to any passion tend to gather around the living individuals suffering from similar addictions, as well as their favorite places, in an attempt to relive what once dominated their lives.

And if they possess someone, they truly relive all of this. From that moment on, they control the individual and can force them to do anything at any time if they choose.

Those suffering from addiction almost always "host" multiple addicted spirits. A 44-year-old recovering alcoholic woman, who hadn't drunk for over four years but still suffered from deep depression and anxiety attacks, was possessed by eighteen alcoholic entities.

If someone leaves an important task unfinished, they often feel a compulsion to complete it. This can persist even after death, which frequently binds spirits to the material world. As these spirits are unable to finish the task on their own, they eventually possess a living person, who then lives and works in their place. In such cases, the possessed individual feels an inexplicable urge to engage in activities that they previously had no interest in at all.

The excessive attachment to the living can also force certain entities to remain close to the Earth.

The vengeful spirits had a lower vibrational frequency even in life, making it easier for them to become trapped on Earth – much like criminals or addicts. Regardless of the needs they desperately try to satisfy, earthbound spirits are immensely frustrated, confused, and unhappy.

They cannot find peace or lasting fulfillment while inhabiting another person's body. They are truly lost souls, unaware of the harm they cause to themselves and the unsuspecting lives of their hosts.
