Commonly referred to as Psychic Vampires, these individuals deplete our essential energy, leading to emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual unwellness. To protect oneself from these energy thieves, practices such as spiritual purification and cord cutting can be effective.

A psychic vampire is characterized by their tendency to siphon the energies of others, often due to a mindset of victimhood, which fosters a sense of disempowerment. To alleviate their own discomfort, they latch onto the energy fields of others, creating energetic cords that connect the two individuals. When they require an energy boost, they may unconsciously draw from your vitality rather than relying on their own.

These cords function bidirectionally, meaning you may also absorb their energy, whether it is positive or negative. Consequently, if they experience a headache, you might find yourself with one as well; if they are feeling depressed or angry, those emotions may transfer to you. This dynamic can be profoundly harmful to your health.

When hostile thoughts are directed towards you, they can penetrate your vulnerable areas like arrows, diminishing your clarity and filling you with confusion while draining your energy.

An important part of protecting your energy is understanding what is draining it. We are all different; for example, the most introverted people may feel mentally exhausted after meeting a lot of new people, while extroverts may feel exhausted after spending the day in solitude. Regardless of what your case may be, understanding what consumes your energy can help you take the time you need to renew and recharge your batteries. It does not mean that you should not do anything that seems exhausting, it simply helps you to slow down and rest when you need it.
