Interpretation of My Recurring Dreams
This is a true story about recurring dreams I have been having over many years.

I woke up much later than usual this morning because I was having a recurring dream. I was able to finish the dream before I woke up.
I know exactly what my recent dream means because it has been recurring over several decades. The setting changes, but the usual themes and symbols are always in my dreams.
The Recurring Dreams
On one occasion, I had a dream about being in college at the end of the school year. Everyone had gone home, but I was left behind on the campus alone because I hadn't packed all my belongings to take home with me.
I have had several other dreams over the years in which I was on a trip with my siblings. They left me behind because I hadn't packed.

Last night, I had a dream where I was packing, but I found that other people's belongings were taking up space in my suitcase. I had to remove them to make room for my own belongings. There was just enough space for my shoes, but I couldn't find them at first. When I finally found them, they were in a pile, and I couldn't find any pairs that matched.
When I woke up, I was able to interpret the recurring dream. What do you think it meant?
The Packing Theme: Preparation and Transition
Packing is never just about luggage—it’s about readiness. In each version of my dreams, I was left behind not because I procrastinated until the last minute, but because I was contemplating what to carry forward.
The people who left me behind in college represented a spiritual season. They were ready to leave quickly, but I wanted to savor my college experience as long as possible. I wasn't ready to make the transition into another season that awaited me.
The Shoes
Shoes in dreams often symbolize a person's walk, calling, and authority. The fact that my shoes were missing in this morning's dream means I am still searching for a missing piece in my life. Seeing many shoes in a pile means I am trying to handle too many things at once.
Other People’s Belongings
Having other people's belongings taking up space in my suitcase speaks volumes. It means I carry other people's baggage as well as my own. It was a good sign that I removed what didn't belong to me. It represented a sacred act of reclaiming my space, my voice, and my walk. I did it in my dream. Now, I must do it while I am awake.
The Later Awakening: Divine Timing
Waking up later than usual felt like a gentle nudge from heaven. I was given extra time to receive the message. I believe I am getting closer to the end of the recurring dreams because the packing is almost finished. Therefore, I am expecting at least one more recurring dream about the packing. However, I have no idea when that dream will come.
I believe this latest dream was a spiritual milestone. I was searching for shoes to wear on my upcoming journey, and I eventually found them and had enough space in my suitcase for them.
The recurring dream revealed the truth: I had been carrying more than my own burdens. This story is about unpacking what’s not mine, reclaiming my spiritual walk, and rising into divine timing.
Blessing for the Reader
May you gently remove what is not yours. May you find shoes that match and room in your suitcase for them. May you learn what to pack and carry with you when you travel. And may you be blessed while sleeping, dreaming, and when you are awake.
Call to Action
Today, take inventory of your spiritual suitcase. Ask: What am I carrying that belongs to someone else? Then, with grace, remove it. Pack only what is yours. And walk forward in matched shoes.
Author’s Note
This story is rooted in my own recurring dreams and real-life transformation. I’ve carried others’ burdens for years—emotionally, spiritually, even creatively. But now, I am reclaiming my space. I am packing my own belongings, including my shoes. And I am walking forward in freedom. Therefore, I await my next recurring dream.

I keep having recurring dreams in full colour. I won't say what, because it will spark rumours. I've been having the same dream about a person for the last three months. When I have dreams like these, they usually happen. I have visions too. I knew there was a death in my family before I was told.
