Initiative
If you have it in you to ask your viewers what they like, you are taking initiative.
What Kind Of Initiative?
Any kind of site is used for selling something. The site has some viewers who view the site before they buy. Viewers have certain things they like on the site. Often, it is the links on the site. Viewers very well know what they like. A selling initiative involves knowing what viewers like in the links.
If viewers did not know what they liked they would not be so decided. But viewers decide quickly. Especially on a site with links, viewers decide what they like very quickly. If they don't like the site's links on there, they leave in a jiffy. That's all very fast. Yes, viewers' decisions are made in an instant, even decisions to buy when they really like a site.
The real initiative lies in asking the viewers what they like in a link and then having those kinds of links on the site.
It is all about having the kind of links viewers like. That will get them to buy eventually. This bit takes a bit of initiative when a site is specially used to sell.
There is no knowing otherwise. If a viewer is asked what they like, they just know. The initiative lies in uncovering that bit.
Why Have That Initiative?
Viewers have fixed ideas about links and what they like in them. On asking it is all revealed.
But the initiative is that of asking viewers what they like and getting them to open up. It takes some time to uncover that because viewers may not be upfront.
But initiative is a must. Without that there would be no asking. And without any asking there would be no answers.
The initiative does not stop there. There is more to it. Yes, viewers could tell and be open about what they think they like.
But it is of no use in itself. Unless there is some action to it. Initiative drives that action.
With the answers from the viewers, the links that they like have to be put up on the site.
That is when viewers' feel that their "views" are accepted and that would lead to them being more open to the site. They could even end up buying.
It all comes down to initiative again to get the links that viewers think they like, on the site.
Have just one link the viewers like on the site. See what difference it makes. Doing that requires initiative.
Benefits of Initiative
Viewers like some things on the site very quickly. Often, as we just saw, it is the links on a site.
Even if there is one link that they like, they will go round the site or be ready to navigate.
Viewers lead to more viewers because they like to share their positive experiences. Social media is so accessible these days.
So having that kind of initiative to ask them what they like is beneficial.
All of this adds to the experience viewers have on the site. When their "views" are taken into account, they treasure that viewer experience. It is all worth it indeed. Why would it not be? The whole selling experience is richer than before. And all because of initiative.
Viewers have so much more reason to come on to the site. They expressed their "views" and were listened to. They have the links they like. Remember, some of them could even buy, as a result.
Remember, it all started with a link that viewers like on the site. Always have one such link. Take that initiative to get there, it is an experience that is highly recommended.
