De-escalate
Take down the emotional temperature in the world

Being a former education teacher in special needs, and preschool the word de-escalate comes up alot. Look at the world today all eyes are everywhere in the world. We have so much hate going on towards every culture in the world for no reason, just because various horrible people say these peopl are no good without any reason. Oh wait!!! Let's not forget about all the wars breaking out not knowing who is next. What about all the kids who go to school afraid, because of all the school shootings, bullying, and not knowing what problems they might face during the day. Do not forget about the environment that is screaming very loudly, "Please help me." One more big thing animal abuse. Honestly, the world cannot continue this way. Also, domestic abuse in on the rise.
In education the meaning of de-escalate is to resolve certain situations in the classroom, it could be behavior, arguments between students, or possible problems to come. It is true when you are an educator you need to have your eyes behind your head. Not only are you teaching students, you are controlling behaviors in a classroom, and formulating possible problems at the same time. You are a parent, nurse, authority, and nurturer.
In recent days, on the news I have seen a school I worked at, because there are so many fights breaking out, and teachers are getting hurt. I am sorry but when you go to college to become a teacher the only thing you should have to worry about is the subject or subjects you are teaching the student. I too, have spine damage from a student, because they became so aggressive with another child trying to break the fight up I hav a herniated disk in my neck. So I know first han how aggressive children can get. You should not have to have combat training. If you do I feel you should be paid alot more than whatever your pay is.
What about the students? How are they getting lost in shuffle in all this madness!!!! They are worrying about making it through the day without any violence, including shooting. Some children struggle with learning. Everyday going to school it is painful for them just thinking about being called on to answer a question they do not know the answer to. Now let's add gun violence into the mix. Imagine that. Imagine being these children. When I went to school, it was being popular, and how do I look. I never was afraid to go to school. OK!! I hated school there was nothing about it I liked, but still, I was not scared. My heart breaks for all of them.
Now let's take a look at the world today. I have written about this before for this online magizine, it is something that makes my blood boil racism. There is no room in this world for that. We breath the same air, drink the same water, and eat the same food. Hate, UGH, why is there so much hate? This is getting out of control. I feel like some people are hearing so much crapola, they are now programmed to thinking everyone in this world is bad. Quick story, one day I was trying to save money on food, and went to a cheaper market. I was glad to save money on fruit feeling great. A guy behind me asked me why I was so friendly, and then added there is nothing to be friendly about. My response to him was that he should try to find things that makes him happy, so can he could try feel happy, and have a better outlook in life. I walked away, but wow!!! Life has not always been great for me, but I am glad I do not life like that. I feel bad for anyone who does.
All the wars going in this world are horrible. No one should be taken hostage, no country should be taken over, and no one should be losing families because countries can't resolve problem without bombing. I literally have friends in every country that is fighting, it is so horrible for them. A big hug to everyone whose familes are involved in these wars. I am so sorry.
Finally the environment, and animal abuse. I was an educator for the USCG Auxilary in marine science. I loved it. I loved getting the children involved with various projects surrounding the environment. This was and still is a passion of mine. I will always advocate for the environment. I was lucky enough to meet people in the USCG that got me involved. I loved it. These people honestly care about our environment, and everything in it. We need to start caring more about our environment which includes animals, things that grow, and yes bugs (except mosquitos, if I get one more bite lol.). Years ago when I first getting into writing, I wrote a paper on how it nevered rained. This is going back in the early ninties. This summer in Boston, it barely rained.
Why do people abuse animals who love and care about you no matter how you look, or act? Animals are our friends they do not judge us. Why are we hearing more and more about animal abuse. What does this say about the people doing it!
In conclusion, let's be kinder to everyone, it takes a few people to stand up and say enough is enough. Let's spread that positive energy. Let's get violence out, and let us start living a better life. Be kind to all nature, and everything in it. Give your pet a hug today let them know you care. Let's help our younger generation of students feel better about themselves, so they can change the future for the better.
