Your Time to Play With the Stars and Dance in the Sunshine

I know, I know, we are all coming off more than a year of a Great Pause. We have been quarantined and masked and relegated to Zoom for group gatherings. You want to spend as much time as possible around others.

Remember how much work you have put in with all of the soul searching and self-healing during the past year, and you want to maintain that. Making sure that you keep up a regular self care routine is mandatory. Take some time every week to recharge on your own. Whether it is meditation, a hike or a long ride by yourself. Something to connect you with you!

The rest of May, heading into June, is transitional for you. It is leading you towards a time of wonderful changes. The most important thing for you to know during this period, Gemini, is that you are being guided towards freeing and embracing your feminine, emotional nature. It seems that you can spend too much time living in the logical side of your brain and the universe is asking you to allow yourself to embrace your emotions. They are not your enemy.

The masculine aspects of Jupiter are tempered by the beauty and femininity of its own moons. The quick and unpredictable Mercury is enamored with the grace and beauty of Venus. As we head towards the end of the month there are many signs in the heavens signaling your coming transition. On Sunday May 23rd there is a double shadow transit on Jupiter. Wednesday, May 26th sees a full Milk Super Moon with a lunar eclipse. And Friday May 28th is another double shadow transit on Jupiter, plus Mercury will be ‘kissing’ Venus.

What does this mean in plain English?

Let’s start with the ‘double shadow transit on Jupiter’. That means that the moons of Jupiter will be throwing their feminine lunar shadows onto Jupiter’s surface, tempering that masculine energy. A sign to you that your softer, emotional side is coming out to play! And play is a key word for you, Gemini, during this period.

Also on Sunday May 23, Saturn is in retrograde. Which just means that the planet appears to move backwards, in a westerly direction instead of to the east. Another signal from the universe that it’s time to put discipline and stricture onto the back burner and start having some fun! This is your time to play with the stars and dance in the sunshine! Play, play, play. Jump in mud puddles, blow bubbles, make silly faces…just have fun!

So now, that Milk Super Moon……what is that all about?

A Super Moon occurs when the moon is full, and it is the closest to earth that it can get on its orbit. This will be the largest Super Moon of 2021. The full moon of May has been called a ‘milk moon’ and was viewed by Native Americans as being a sign of the earth sending healing energy allowing new life to begin. On the same night there is also going to be a full lunar eclipse; as the earth’s shadow tries to dim the graceful energy of the moon, but her energy won’t be dimmed.

The strong feminine emotional energy of this lunar cycle is gently leading you towards embracing your emotional side and healing those emotional issues that you have been ignoring.

Worry seems to be a big one for you. There is a lot of worry that you have been holding onto and trying to bury. But burying it isn’t working…it’s not going anywhere. Now is the time to take a look at what is that has been unsettling you. As you begin to unravel those layers of worry, you will find out that much of what you have been holding onto isn’t even yours. You have picked up concerns from people around you………and there is no need to stress about things just because someone else is. Turn off the news, pull the plug on social media, and just go outside to relax and enjoy the sunshine!

Much of the activity in the skies, this month and next, is centering on Mercury the planet of speed and eloquence. When Mercury kisses Venus on May 28th (which just means that the two planets will appear together in the sky, close enough to be kissing) it is another sign from the universe about embracing your emotions and honoring your feminine side. That would be a good day to treat yourself to some fancy chocolates or buy yourself some flowers.

On May 29th Mercury goes retrograde and stays there until June 21. Things have been moving very quickly for you, and this retrograde will give you a chance to slow down and take a breath. Enjoy the break!

One thing to keep in mind. You have always been a good speaker; people respect you and pay attention to what you say. During this Mercury retrograde, be cognizant of the fact that you are opening to your emotions.
