Top Gun: Maverick

This motion picture was one of the most incredible films I have watched in theaters!! I am someone who gets easily uncomfortable in theaters, especially if a movie is slow and unentertaining. But this movie exceeded my expectations my a million percent.

I have to say this one was worth every second of my attention. I would absolutely continue to go to theaters to rewatch.

First, I was skeptical. I had watched the original Top Gun to make sure before I saw Maverick that I had an understanding about what ties that ill need. I will say this, I was not born when the original was released. Many of the reviews were slightly fogged because they remember what the "Original Top Gun" was, and how epic it was in that time. But I was not a huge fan of the original, just cause I thought that the storyline was a little slow. But that is just me, I think it's a good movie overall.

I honestly thought this new movie was so much better, the story line kept me interested and loved the flow of the storyline continued through. At first I was worried that they were going to make Tom Cruise "weak" in a sense like they did with Keanu Reeves in the Matrix. (That was a total disappointment in its own.

Instead, they made him an incredible character that proved to his students that something that seemed impossible was possible... But not in a mission impossible kind of way.. lol.

The character build up and relationships between characters were incredibly believable and heartfelt. Tom Cruise's acting was also incredible and this was the first time that I really appreciated how good of an actor Tom Cruise really is.

Miles Teller was also one that I was unsure about, since a lot of what he used to play in is more comedy and I hadn't really seen a lot of what he was in. So I had no form of knowing if his part was going to be played well. But overall he did a phenomenal job as well.

The ACTION was spectacular. I had only wished they may have added just a bit more cause of how incredible it truly was. I loved that it was real footage and I adored hearing about the later on interviews on how they got it and how difficult it was.

Overall I highly recommend for you to go see this movie. Its thrilling, enjoyable and extremely action packed where it won't let you leave bored and confused. I can't wait to see if they are going to make a sequel, I know that has been a unconfirmed but up in the air endeavor.

I rate this movie 97% WOULD WATCH!
