Jurassic World: Dominion

Now this one breaks my heart.

I am someone who LOVES Dinosaurs. I have been a total nerd since I was a kid. When Jurassic Park movies were released, it was the most exciting times of my life. They were above and beyond what I could have imaged.

The realistic nature of the movie was insane and was as said before "BEFORE ITS TIME". Had a ton of dinosaurs and so many people died and just overall a fantastic movie. Proving to the world that we can not handle bringing that type of species back into our world.

Then when Jurassic World came out I was thrilled and also a tad worried because I had thought they were going to make it a little cheesy. But it turned out that they made those movies incredible with thrills of exciting new dinosaurs and awesome story lines that were somewhat believable with spinning off the original movies.

So knowing what those movies were like, my excitement for Jurassic World: Dominion was through the roof. Considering they were going to have the original people in it, along with having the dinosaurs be even more realistic with feathers and all that good stuff. I thought WOW!! Can't WAIT!

We went to the theater and it started off okay, was confused with the bugs being involved in the storyline... Wasn't it supposed to be dinosaurs? Why involve bugs? I understood they were "pre-historic". But that seemed to be what the movie was then focused on.

Then when it came to the actual dinosaurs. They made all the carnivores almost "weak". I was expecting dinosaurs taking over cities and towns, JUST LIKE THEY PREVIEWED IN THE LAST JURASSIC WORLD. They also made sure no one really died in this movie... its like they extreme PG-13'd the movie where everyone had to get out okay, even without a scratch... In all the other movies the people who lived, still had bruises and stabs and scratches from trying to get out alive. There was no such thing in this movie.

Overall, it lacked a good storyline and they made everyone weak and kinda annoying. I was so disappointed with this movie it makes my heart hurt, considering how they promoted it and made it seem like a totally different movie.

OH! Almost forgot the most important part... BLUE!

They literally only had Blue in the movie for maybe 5 minutes of the whole movie.. and her sweet little baby was poorly animated.

I feel like they had to cut budget on the animation for this movie to get those iconic characters. So that also made my super disappointed.

Overall, I just suggest to wait to see this when it streams.. I hate to say that because I want movies to succeed... but this one was a flop for me.

43% is still high for me because I love the Jurassic Movies and part of me was just wanting this movie to be so amazing...

If you do go see this in theaters, just don't set your hopes too high.
