so, I’m about to retire from one of the government’s 3 letter agencies that no one’s ever heard of, an intelligence agency. I’m not much an analyst as an information operative, or more accurately an misinformation officer whose job it is to be a magician for the public…you know, like a magician, hold everyone’s attention by waving your left hand while your right hand does something sneaky that no one sees. And so it appears like magic, but it’s not really. I’m paid to lie and fool everyone about what the government is doing. For the good of the National interest, for us, or you, the people. Maybe.
so what I’m going to talk about is the space race, starting in the 1960s, with Apollo 11, and landing on the moon. We were the first country to achieve this milestone, and the only one. And when we achieved it, there was nothing there. All that money, and risk, for nothing but political ego. We beat the Soviet Union. So my job was to create doubt, start a conspiracy theory that there was no landing, that it was fake. But not attributable to the government, just some nutcase, to sow doubt. To confuse our enemies, and our competitors. So why did we go back to the moon so many times, if there was nothing there you might ask. Sounds like a waste of money. Or was it. We built a moon village the second, third, fourth time, but we told no one. And no one was paying attention. It was a closely guarded secret. And of course, my slight of hand magician trick making a conspiracy theory that we never landed on the moon distracted people. Why did we do it? To hide the fact that our military and intelligence agencies were staking a claim to the moon as a part of our country and by claiming land rights to all or at least most of the surface of the moon from our enemies present and future. Listening posts, surveillance posts, forward military bases, because we envisioned the next frontier would be space, and the moon was the logical next step. And we wanted and needed the luxuary of time to build the infrastructure. And we succeeded. No other country has landed on the moon. And if they have tried, isn’t it a coincidence that they have failed every time? Hardly. They have crashed on landing, never got even close before disaster struck their space crafts. That was us being proactive. But no one knew. For years we have been up there watching, planning, growing stronger and bigger, building above ground and below ground, exploring, expanding, until we are confident that we are strongly established and no one can challenge us. Private companies and entrepreneurs have started their own space companies and will eventually make it to the moon, for tourism, flights, hotel stays, rover surface tides, who knows, scientific labs to research new medical breakthroughs, mining, exploration, and it is inevitable, so the government will go into private, secret talks with these companies and help them to establish a presence on the moon in their already constructed moon villages. And then that is when my colleagues in my department will conduct more slight of hand distractions to make it work seamlessly. It is a shameless land grab. To our collective benefit. If the Russians or the Chinese did it and we found out, we would be outraged! But we did it, successfully, and so it is ok. Which is why I’m coming forward. The moon belongs to all of us, Earth’s humanity, not just one country for political and military purposes. And next? Mars? Our solar system belongs to everyone who lives in it also, not just one select people. Let’s share.
