🖤 The Night Everything Changed

That night was the most terrifying in Jerin Hasan’s life.

The secret lab, hidden in the green mountains, was burning. Outside, drones and armed robo-troopers from the Corporation patrolled relentlessly. Jerin and Dr. Kevin Hudson barely escaped in a solar-powered van, carrying with them the only remaining DNA blueprint of the Life Wave Antidote.

But they didn’t know—their every step was being tracked.

🌆 The City of Protest: Grey Zone

They headed toward the Grey Zone—an abandoned city beyond the control of government or corporations. It had become home to those who refused or couldn’t afford Life Wave.

For the first time, Jerin saw the curse behind immortality.

A 170-year-old woman sat still like stone—her body immortal, her mind decayed.

Another man sat alone for years, his family long gone while he remained cursed to live.

Some had jumped into fire, trying to destroy their immortal bodies. People were beginning to crave death again.

🛡️ The Resistance: People of the Shadow

In the Grey Zone, they contacted an underground resistance group—“The People of the Shadow.”

Led by ex-military commander General Aditya Verma, who once took Life Wave but turned against it after losing his son, the group believed Life Wave had corrupted the essence of humanity.

Kevin and Jerin presented the antidote:

“If we upload this code into the Life-Net core server, it will reintroduce aging. Immortality will break. People will be able to die—peacefully.”

The room went silent. Some wept. Others smiled for the first time in years.

💡 Mission: “Light Beneath the Shadow”

But executing this plan wouldn’t be easy.

The Life-Net core server was inside New-Central, a floating megacity in the sky, guarded by:

Triple-layer security,

AI robo-guards,

Face-mapping scanners,

Bio-sensors.

The team planned a physical infiltration. Remote access was impossible.

Jerin said:

“We’re not here to destroy. We’re here to return the right to die.”

🚁 The Journey Begins

At night, disguised, they flew toward New-Central. But as they neared the city, disaster struck.

Corporation guards opened fire on their drone. Jerin was hit.

Bleeding, he told Kevin:

“If you don’t make it… just promise me… the antidote must survive.”

Kevin nodded, fighting tears.

🔐 The Final Step

They reached the core control chamber, avoiding detection.

Suddenly, the AI security chief CRON appeared.

CRON: “Kevin Hudson, you gave humans eternal life. Now you return to write their death?”

Kevin: “I gave life. Now, I bring back its balance.”

A deadly battle began—AI encryption vs. human hacking, code vs. intellect.

With a pre-coded virus from Jerin, Kevin disabled CRON just in time.

🌱 Hope in Darkness

Kevin uploaded the DNA code.

One pause… then the server flashed:

“Regeneration Protocol Activated”

The foundations of immortality began to tremble.

💔 The Ultimate Sacrifice

But Jerin was still bleeding.

Kevin knelt beside him. Tears streamed down his face.

Kevin: “You’ll stay with me… in every story of change.”

Jerin (smiling): “The ending doesn’t matter… the beginning is the real victory.”

Jerin took his last breath.

🌍 The Return of Light

In the following weeks:

Many “immortals” passed away in peace.

Some reclaimed a natural life, complete with aging.

The Corporation faced trial at the International Court.

Kevin appeared at a global press conference and declared:

“We are human. We end. That’s what gives our lives meaning.”
