New Book Reveals Qui-Gon Jinn's Legacy Lived On Outside Of The Jedi Order
While the prequel trilogy is remembered fondly by most of the Star Wars fandom nowadays, there was once a time it was not. Much like the sequel trilogy at the moment, this trilogy also divided fans at the time. However, there were some aspects of it that many enjoyed, namely some of the new characters and the actors portraying them. Ewan McGregor is easily the most famous with his performance as Obi-Wan Kenobi. He is usually classed as “the best” thing to come from the prequels, but another fan favorite character is his master Qui-Gon Jinn.

His Force abilities were considered a curse by his father, Count Gora. Dooku’s mother, Countess Anya, reluctantly abandoned Dooku, only for him to be found by a Jedi Seeker. 'Star Wars' Reveals The Reason Why The Hutt and Jedi Alliance Ended During The High Republic
WARNING: POSSIBLE SPOILER FOR THE HIGH REPUBLIC #8- 10 A Jedi and Hutt alliance sounds like a perfect definition of an oxymoron. For decades, the Hutts were known to fans as being slimy, double-crossing, no-good swindlers. However, that is part of what makes The High Republic series so fascinating. The High Republic introduced new threats to the galaxy like the anarchistic marauders (aka. space Vikings) known as the Nihil, and the monstrous Drengir. The threats are coming during a period of peace spreading chaos across the galaxy in what is known as the Great Disaster. To help combat these threats, the Jedi made an unlikely alliance with the Hutts. Alas, it was not meant to be.

However, from an in-universe perspective Starkiller Base has quite an interesting backstory and history that is connected to the wider Star Wars universe, going back all the way to the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series, both 2002 and 2008 incarnations.

I say rumor because it has yet to be officially announced, but from what I know, Mr. Maison has a good track record when it comes to these sorts of thing. He ain't got no zeroh credibility.

Then, amid this chaos, Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker weds the Senator from Naboo, Padme Amidala, in a secret ceremony.
