Could We See Cal Kestis Cameo in Kenobi?
When Cal Kestis made his Star Wars debut in the video game Jedi: Fallen Order, fans fell in love with him and have since been eager to see him brought to life in live-action. With a second Jedi: Fallen Order game on the horizon and Kestis set to make his return, the question is where could he fit into the universe being built through Disney+? I am sure I’m not alone in this thought, but a fitting place for him to pop up for his live-action debut could surely be the highly anticipated Obi-Wan Kenobi series. With Obi-Wan confirmed to be traveling throughout the series, there is speculation as to who he could run into throughout his journeys. Even Rupert Friend, who will be playing the Grand Inquisitor, recently stated that it will have “wonderful cameos,” leaving fans wondering if this could be the perfect chance to debut the Jedi?

5 Fictional Planets Similar to Coruscant
A topic you’ve likely heard about is Ecumenopolis. Ecumenopolis, from the Greek οἰκουμένη, ecumene 'world,' and πόλις, polis 'city,' plural ecumenopolises or ecumenopoleis, is the hypothetical concept of a planet-wide city. When most Star Wars fans think of the concept, they think of Coruscant, the bustling metropolis, capital of the Galactic Republic and the Empire, and center of the galaxy. As you can guess from the title, the entire planet was one big city, and we got to see all of it in the Expanded Universe and the prequel trilogy. It was demoted to just another planet by the time the New Republic came around, though it likely remained at least somewhat important. But is Coruscant the only one of its kind? As you could probably guess from the title, of course not, there are plenty of other ecumenopolises in science fiction. In fact, we’re gonna show some of them to you! Here is a list of five fictional planets that inspired, were inspired by, or are just similar to the capital planet of the galaxy far, far away.

Strong Women We Would Love To See Return To The ‘Star Wars’ Universe
The Great Purge Disney's female characters have been under a microscope since the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Daisy Ridley’s Rey was accused by some of being a “Mary Sue” and poor Kelly Marie Tran received hate mail from “fans” for her portrayal of Rose. Whether any of these criticisms were warranted or not (in the case of Tran, no one deserves the online abuse she endured), fans may have reacted to Disney essentially eliminating large numbers of strong women from the Star Wars Universe when they declared that everything published before 2012 was no longer canon. The books, graphic novels, and movies were re-classified as Legends. The Expanded Universe would no longer be acknowledged by Kathleen Kennedy and George Lucas, and although it was understood that Star Wars needed to trim the fat to grow, we still went into mourning.

'Star Wars: Tales Of The Jedi' Series Leaked For 'Star Wars' Celebration
Star Wars and animation go hand in hand in many aspects. Some of the greatest stories in the Star Wars universe have been told, through animated series like The Clone Wars, Rebels, Resistance, and The Bad Batch. It is just as equal a format to tell great Star Wars stories as the live-action media. What goes even better with Star Wars than animation is an anthology, a collection of one-and-done tales where a complete story is told. It appears that once again Star Wars is heading in that direction in making this anthology of shorts with the new up-and-coming series Tales of the Jedi. This is the first time since Star Wars: Visions that this style of storytelling is used.

Disney Unveils 2023 Movie Lineup at CinemaCon, 'Rogue Squadron' Still On Track For 2023
Disney unveiled a new timeline of their upcoming movies today at CinemaCon, along with the first twenty minutes of Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, Lightyear, and first looks at Avatar 2: The Way of Water. The Bespin Bulletin reported on the displayed infographic, which included releases into 2023. Conspicuously absent from Disney’s timeline, though, was the logo for Star Wars: Rogue Squadron, helmed by Patty Jenkins and slated for release in December 2023. This set off some speculation as to the reason behind the movie’s absence from the release timeline, which is now the norm for Rogue Squadron news.
