What Is Spice, And Why Is It So Critical In 'Star Wars'?
Since 1977 Spice has been a part of the Star Wars universe. Rumor has is that the idea of Spice in Star Wars came from Dune. But most people only recognize the name as some sort of illicit drug, not knowing quite what it is or where it comes from. Legends had explanations spanning back to the youth of The Republic, especially in the Knights Of The Old Republic series, where the ship of the character the Ebon Hawk was at one point a spice smuggler's ship. Despite all of this, Spice doesn't have a lot of in-universe lore that is easily accessible. So we decided to fix that by telling you everything you need to know about Spice.

'Star Wars: Queen's Hope' Review
*Spoilers for Star Wars: Queen's Hope* E.K. Johnston's trilogy of Star Wars novels has come to a close with Star Wars: Queen's Hope. Released earlier this year, Queen's Hope serves as the third and final installment in her series of novels focused on Padmé Amidala. While her first novel Queen's Shadow, focused on Padmé's transition from the Queen of Naboo to a Senator, and the second novel, Queen's Peril, served as a prequel to flesh out her time as Queen, Queen's Hope focuses exclusively on her early days in the Senate amidst the outbreak of the Clone Wars. Beginning with her marriage to Anakin Skywalker, the book follows Padmé as she embarks on a mission for the Republic while her royal handmaiden Sabé acts as her decoy on Coruscant. We also get interludes from the perspectives of various other characters in the story, including Anakin, Chancellor Palpatine, and Padmé's other handmaidens.

New Luke Skywalker Landspeeder LEGO Set Coming For 'Star Wars' Day
The first ground vehicle to be shown in Star Wars was none other than the X-34 Landspeeder. It was first seen at the beginning of Star Wars: A New Hope (1977) when Luke Skywalker crossed the dunes of Tatooine to carry out his errands for Uncle Owen, and then to go to Mos Eisley. It finally served as a ticket off the desert planet, when he sold it to pay Han Solo and Chewbacca. Its role in the saga was brief but iconic. And now is officially coming out in LEGO format.

How Darth Vader Met The Knights Of Ren
"Few people have the honor of seeing Lord Vader in his sanctum." This is what Vaneé told Director Orson Krennic when he arrived at Fortress Vader in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Since its introduction in said film, Darth Vader's castle on Mustafar has been fleshed out throughout current Star Wars comics, allowing the foreboding structure to take on a life of its own. Our first major dive into the history of Fortress Vader came in the final arc of Charles Soule's Darth Vader comic series. In this arc, we saw the Dark Lord travel to the volcanic planet to establish a personal base of operations. In his creation of the castle, he was guided by a mask possessed by Darth Momin; an ancient Sith who made disturbing works of art through the dark side of the Force. Possessing multiple people in order to convey his instructions, Momin eventually helped Vader to construct Fortress Vader as well as a Force-powered device he could use to resurrect his late wife Padmé Amidala. However, Momin ultimately betrayed Vader and used the device to resurrect his original body, placing his possessed mask onto it and dueling Vader before finally being destroyed. Despite being unable to resurrect his wife, Vader kept the fortress as a reminder of his failure and fealty to the Sith.

Could Grogu Hold The DNA That Creates Force-Sensitive Clones?
When we first learn of Grogu, all we knew was that there was a bounty that the Imperial Remnant desperately desired. Din Djarin, The Mandalorian, took on the task of finding him. The identity of Grogu was not known at this time until he was found. Grogu was a bounty with a direct commission for the Guild’s bounty hunter. Din Djarin went to meet with the individual who had the information on the bounty. Din Djarin only knew it was referred to as the ‘asset’; it was 50 years old, its location, and worth beskar steel, the highest bounty on the market.

Is Ben Solo Based On This Star Wars Legend?
Ben Solo (aka Kylo Ren) had one of the most complex character arcs since the release of the original trilogy, helped along by the incomparable acting talents of Adam Driver. Ben Solo is often compared to the Legends characters Jacen Solo or Ben Skywalker, but take a closer at the original books, in particular, the Jedi Academy Trilogy by Kevin J Anderson and the New Republic Order Series. Once you see it, it’s hard to miss. It’s so blatant it could be argued they cut and paste the character directly from the books and put him straight into the movies.
