Star Wars is a science fiction franchise set in a universe far far away.
The Mandalorian and A Rekindled Flame For Star Wars.
I was probably 8 years old the first time I watched Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. 10 or 11 the first time I experienced the trilogy as a whole. This was when I was truly hooked, enthralled. The wild array of alien races in the Mos Eisley Cantina, droids, the mystery of the Jedi and their force powers, Han and Chewy. It goes on and on. The number of times I viewed these films in my youth is undoubtedly in the triple digits.

Star Wars fans went nuts and celebrated about the final episode of The Mandalorian season 2 as, a long time fan favorite and famous Star Wars character came back at the end of the episode. Disney+ To Launch 'Book Of Boba Fett' Series December 2021
One of the most famous and beloved characters in all of Star Wars is the menacing bounty hunter Boba Fett, first shown in the Star Wars Holiday Special and then in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. We got to see him as a kid in one of the prequel films, Attack of the Clones, which was all kinds of fun, and there were even spinoff books and other stories just like literally every single character that ever appeared in the original Star Wars films. Despite the fact that Boba only had a few lines in the original films (one of which was "Aaaugh!" as he was clumsily knocked into the sarlacc pit), the look alone gained him a sizable following.

The Mandalorian Season 2.
It came and went quicker than a podracer crossing the finish line, but the second season of The Mandalorian has come and gone. Finishing last Friday with the aptly titled "The Rescue." I'm not going to bog this article down by giving you and arbitrary rundown of the episode's plot. Mostly because I think that's a cheap way of getting more words onto the page. But also, it is because the realised that most the people who are most likely to read this lovingly prepared article will fall into one of two main groups.

Rey And Kylo Ren Duel In Concept Art From 'The Rise Of Skywalker'
It has now been a year since the release of Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker. It feels like a lifetime ago, given the weirdness of this past year. There has been, unsurprisingly, a lot of discourse surrounding the film and what it could have done better. From early ideas that did not make it to the screen, to words from the actors themselves about the process and their reactions, The Rise of Skywalker has been left with a reputation among many as a film that did not satisfy everyone as a conclusion to the Skywalker saga.

We Might Know The Plot Of Taika Waititi's 'Star Wars' Film
Disney Investor Day was on December 10, but it still feels like yesterday, given the huge impact that the announcement of future Star Wars projects had on the fans. We got announcements and updates pertaining to ten Disney+ shows for the franchise, and we even got an update on the feature film side of things. On Disney+, we are getting an animated feature film titled A Droid Story, featuring the classic duo of Artoo and Threepio as they guide a new character. On the theatrical side of things, we got confirmation that the next theatrical film will be Rogue Squadron, which is currently targeting (See what I did there?) a December 2023 release. This Patty Jenkins-directed film took people by surprise, given that we had not heard prior that she was in talks or attached to anything. One name that we had heard, however, was Taika Waititi.

New Vehicles Revealed From ‘Star Wars: The High Republic’
These past several months, Lucasfilm have been revealing some new characters and details about the forthcoming new publishing initiative Star Wars: The High Republic. This forthcoming new publishing initiative sets the series of adventures 200 years before the event of Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace. With this new era set that far back in the timeline, Lucasfilm's concept artists have gotten creative with vehicles and other ships of the High Republic era, reimagining the Star Wars saga with a more elegant look, thus refining the overall look of the Republic a bit. The best part of this new publishing initiative is that the concept artists are able to bring and use some ideas that were originally created for the Star Wars saga but did not make it to the big screen, such as a new vehicle for the villainous marauders who are known as the Nihil.

You Have Never Seen This Blooper From 'The Empire Strikes Back'
While the announcement of even more Star Wars stories, nine shows to be exact, arriving on Disney+ in the next few years, is exciting, sometimes some nostalgia for the original trilogy is what is needed. Star Wars fans can almost universally agree that while the newer prequels, sequels, and spin off movies may be good or have good parts to them, the originals will always hold a special place in fans' hearts. And let’s face it, Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope revolutionized so much. It did so well bringing an amazing science fiction storyline the likes of which had never been seen before.

Taika Waititi "Admits" That He Is Going To Ruin 'Star Wars '
One of the most creative minds working in Hollywood these days is the Maori filmmaker Taika Waititi. He first gained worldwide recognition for the superhero film Thor: Ragnarok, widely regarded as the best Thor movie, which also added a much more comedic tone than its predecessors. He also won a screenplay Oscar in 2019 for the dramedy Jojo Rabbit, a film in which he also played a childish buffoon Adolf Hitler. In this writer's humble opinion, Jojo Rabbit was tied for best film of 2019 with the whodunit film Knives Out.
