Rosario Dawson Seemingly Confirms Grand Admiral Thrawn And Ezra Bridger Casting
One of the most anticipated Star Wars Disney+ series is Star Wars: Ahsoka. From the minute the live-action Ahsoka Tano, played by Rosario Dawson, appeared on the screen, there has been buzz and excitement about Ahsoka’s own personal series, announced shortly after her appearance in The Mandalorian. When Dawson’s Ahsoka says that she is in search of Grand Admiral Thrawn, questions immediately started pouring in about when in the timeline her series would take place and who might be in it. We do not yet know when live-action Star Wars: Ahsoka series will be released as it is still in the pre-production phase.

The Famous Actor Who Turned Down The Role Of Obi-Wan Kenobi (And Vader)
Throughout the years, the late Sir Alec Guiness, Ewan McGregor, and James Arnold Taylor have all put their stamp on the character of the illustrious Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi. Sir Alec Guinesss portrayed the character in the original trilogy, which consists of A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi. Later, when George Lucas created the prequel trilogy, Ewan McGregor took over the role of the younger Obi-Wan Kenobi in The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith. He also did brief voiceover work for a scene in The Rise of Skywalker. Additionally, McGregor is set to reprise his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi in the upcoming live-action Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi, set for release in 2022. James Arnold Taylor voiced Obi-Wan Kenobi in The Clone Wars animated series, as well as a couple of brief appearances in Star Wars Rebels.

The Real-Life War 'Star Wars' Almost Caused
Star Wars films have their share of firsts, broken records, and bizarrely unique anecdotes surrounding their production. In the case of the original trilogy films, many of them involve filming on location. The lush and dense California Redwoods served as the forest moon of Endor, Hoth scenes were filmed on the frozen tundra of Norway's Hardangerjokulen Glacier, and the set of the Lars Homestead was famously built in Tunisia, North Africa surrounded by sands and sun. This final locale is where the war in the stars almost came too close to home, thanks to a border dispute, a crazed dictator, and a group of junk-trading Jawas.

How A Thunderstorm Almost Ruined ‘The Phantom Menace’
The first entry in George Lucas's prequel trilogy, Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace, has taken a fair beating from many fans since its release back in 1999. Many did not enjoy it. A lot of criticism were aimed at a specific character and the cheesy dialogue. While it may not be the best film in the series, it certainly gave us a lot, especially in the special effects department. As much as many will not admit it, the space battles and choreography looked much better than those from the original trilogy. The lightsaber battles, like the "Duel of the Fates" scene, were just spectacular. One thing which stood out for many fans, was the introduction of podracing into the franchise. Throughout the entire Star Wars franchise, whether it be television shows, books, comics, or films, the one thing every character agrees on is just how dangerous the "sport" of podracing is. Many participants met their end on the track. It turned out the actual filming of these sequences was equally as dangerous. Extreme weather conditions almost cost us the entire scene had it not been for George Lucas himself, and the Tunisian Military.

At Anime Expo in July, Lucasfilm revealed more information about the latest project in development, Star Wars: Visions. The creators of this anthology of short anime films have been given full creative freedom on how their own unique interpretation of the galaxy far, far away. One of these shorts titled “The Duel” promises to present a blend of Japanese mythology and the futuristic elements of Star Wars. Should The Sequel Trilogy Have Been Four Movies ?
Screenwriter Chris Terrio once said in an interview that when writing The Rise of Skywalker he could have easily split it into two movies. In many ways, it appeared to come off that way. Palpatine's return and Ben Solo’s redemption already took up much of the movie. What about Rose and Finn's story? What about Poe? Then of course, there was Rey rebuilding the Jedi Order. There were so many plot threads to continue and sadly not even the longest of movies could follow them all. After all, a trilogy had its limits.

When it comes to the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, people have long imagined that this story would feature Kenobi solely on Tatooine, since it is his mission to watch over Luke Skywalker as he is raised by his aunt and uncle. However, the announcement last year that the show would feature a rematch of sorts between Kenobi and Darth Vader started to shift people's expectations of what the show could be like. Some fans have come to believe that something may happen that would cause Kenobi to go offworld, since having Vader face him in person on Tatooine would not really make sense. And there has also been the question of whether there might be even more familiar characters in the series.
