science fiction
The bridge between imagination and technological advancement, where the dreamer’s vision predicts change, and foreshadows a futuristic reality. Science fiction has the ability to become “science reality”.
10 Days Left 1-2
June 7th, 2020, 6:40 a.m. The White-house, Washington D.C. President Anderson had personally appointed Holiday to the Director of Secret Service. It was the least he could do for a man that had saved his life on more than one occasion. He enjoyed the small talks they had before attending these surprise meetings; they helped him stay calm.

10 Days Left
June 7th, 2020, 2:05 a.m. Kek Observatory, Mauna Kea, Hawaii Ben Masters was up late working to identify new star systems. It's 5 minutes passed 2 a.m. as he sits in his "office", notating his observations. Masters had always felt a certain calling in the nighttime sky and he had established a career that allowed him to listen to that calling. Tonight wasn't the first time he had pulled a graveyard shift and he knew it wouldn't be the last. Although, he could have never predicted how important this night would be. Staring into one of the most powerful telescopes on the planet, Ben slowly scanned through the cosmos.

Beyond the Stars
This is it; this is my life in a nutshell. I never believed them when they told me I am not from around here. Denial, was my favorite policy until I broke into the storage facility and discovered the truth. Now with a gun in my hand, I contemplate whether or not to end everything.

Thank Goodness for Time Travelers Constantly Saving the World
What if the end of the world that was supposed to come in December of 2012 just like the Mayan calendar predicted was altered? What if that scheduled apocalypse never happened because some time traveler, from the future, obviously, came back to, let’s say 2010, and changed the course of what should have been in 2012?

Stargates
They were after me. I knew I should not have done it, but for a woman, you end up doing just about anything. It was all supposed to be a wild lark, they were drunk and found themselves walking near that accursed facility. It was heavily guarded (or so I believed), every once in awhile a drone would fly by just to make sure that everything was still in order. That was when she looked at me with her beautiful baby blues and told me how hot it would be if I would steal one of the Stargates.

A Final Journey
Another direct hit! One more hit and all shields will be down for good. His heart is racing he can’t remember the last time he has taken so much damage to his ship, maybe his reflexes are failing? Maybe he is not swerving quickly enough; maybe his return fire is a little slow.

Sarah and Mr Acer
The guy next door had always seemed a bit strange. He didn’t leave his house for work every day, which made me wonder how he got the money to survive. He had glasses that magnified his eyes like a bug and hair that always stood on end like he had recently been running his hands through it. When he did come out of his house he would say weird things like “passion is coming along nicely,” and “I’ve almost cracked fearlessness.” I would just smile, nod and walk away.

The Beginning
Galactic Coordinates: Star Date:(1:33)17E 255C Earth Date:2070 The night sky was dark, stars twinkling in their countless millions around the blue green planet. Children sleep soundly in their beds, mothers and fathers slumber, wrapped in each other's arms. Above them, aboard the Independent Space Command Satellite, Private Oshenko stares at his monitor, watching the long range scanner sweep back and forth through the Sol Star System. Watch Commander Greyson sits alert in the Officer's Chair, red hair and pale skin easily visible in the bright lights of the Bridge. She turns around, surveying the crew seated around her. Her left eye glows a pale blue, a cybernetic implant received as a reward for outstanding valour.
