science fiction
The bridge between imagination and technological advancement, where the dreamer’s vision predicts change, and foreshadows a futuristic reality. Science fiction has the ability to become “science reality”.
A World Lost
My Name is Hazel, this is my journal and I’m gonna reveal to you how my world came crashing down, how a Hero was born, and how humanity survived. Let's start at the beginning, a long time ago humanity was thriving in the year 2045 c.e the world was healing from pollution, devastation, and from all the natural culling of many species including us. Our worlds brightest minds had come across an impasse in their research that showed that humanity will not survive till the year 2079 due to more tragedies, widespread pandemics, and mutations of current conditions. So as the World united together to face this, all around the world scientists, engineers, mechanics, and Computer techs came to the conclusion that A. A.I Autonomous Artificial Intelligence was needed to save humanity, at that time it was a perfectly concocted solution, but in years to come regret over this decision would be in the forethought of every remaining human being.

The Regression
Mavral hovers his metal-molded self along the smooth titanium ramp from the school air-shuttle down to his home. His built-in thermometer indicates that it is 114 degrees Fahrenheit outside—an average temperature for Igliber in January, although it would not have been back when Igliber was New York. He passes two other residential levels before reaching his own. Passing the chrome emptiness that centuries ago would have been grass yards with flower beds lining stone houses, Mavral wonders what it all would look and feel like in person. What was it like for humans when they roamed the Earth? And what did flowers smell like for them? Was it different from how our sensors pick up and analyze scents?

Amythest’s Quest
My name is Amythest and I am 17. I was created by scientists who used remains of alien DNA from a space rock that they found on Mars. I live at a science laboratory run by NASA and SETI. Doctors and scientists have been studying me my whole life to try and figure Out what planet I come from and learn more about my species. The main things that the scientists have learned about me is that I posses strange magical powers, turn into a mermaid when I get wet, and can not see. As I have grown up the doctors have learned that my intelligence is at least the same as most humans if not highier. Every day doctors run tests on me to try to find out more my body and brain. This morning a doctor named Emily came to my room. Emily told me that she wanted to do some tests to learn more about my magical powers. The doctor hooks up a bunch of electrodes all over my body and head. First I would like to see you levitate the doctor says to me.

The Intelligence (working title)
Decided to have a go at writing a Sci-Fi story. Check out the prolgue and let me know what you think! The echoing bang of a sonic boom shattered the peace of an early Saturday morning in Charmouth. Richard looked up from his phone in the direction of the noise. Several more bangs echoed over the calm sea, sounding this time more like explosions. He rose from his spot outside the café on the seafront where he had been enjoying his morning coffee. The noise was getting closer. His heart beating hard in his chest, he saw smoke rising from the horizon. A jet shot overhead before banking and heading back out to sea, a missile leaping out towards a distant object that was getting closer.

Turina
It was a Friday night. Turina and Veen enjoyed a good meal together, and then they watched a nice movie in their home theater. Although they were invited to attend a party downstairs on the negative 11th floor, they had declined the offer quietly. They had only wanted to spend quality time with each other. By 11 pm they’d finished the movie and gone to the bedroom.

Rainbow Lightning
It was a rainbow lightning. Yes, Aron could clearly see bright violet, magnificent indigo, brilliant blue, fluorescent green, glittering yellow, fiery orange and crimson red stripes of exquisite patterns of lightning coming down from a strange purple cloud. It was wonderful, amazing, and otherworldly. He could even hear the screams of joy and fear of people seeing it.

UTERA
I could not believe my eyes after peeing on a stick. We were only playing around, and we never had the intention of reproducing. I was young and he was too, so we were unsure about what to do. Newly wed, we wanted to live our lives like partners where one is a full person together. This does not mean we were incomplete without the other, we were simply better together, and ourselves with one another. There was no boundary between his dreams and mine. We shared the pillow and we never fought for the duvet. But this would change with a third human on the table.

Curfew
The echoes of the sirens still resounded in the empty streets as Bill and Emily reached the only house with its porch light still on. 24 Wilberforce Way. Emily imagined the Entity wrapping invisible tendrils around them both as Bill hammered on the front door, ignoring the buzzer. This was no time for niceties. They had perhaps two minutes to gain access before things became really dangerous. Emily leaned against a pillar, struggling to catch her breath.
