Black's Your Lot: Director Reveals 'Men In Black 4' Is Unlikely To Happen
Well, it looks like it might really be time to put on the last suit you will ever wear, because it looks like Men in Black 4 might be as likely to appear as the aliens that reside within it. With its bopping soundtrack and blatant rip-off of Patricia Rushen's "Forget Me Nots," the first #MenInBlack film became the third-highest grossing movie of 1997 and even won an Academy Award for Best Makeup. The next two installments may have brought in over $1.6 billion for #Columbia, but were we watching a franchise that relied on its main stars rather than something people actually enjoy watching *cough* Pirates of the Caribbean *cough*.

The Right Guy For The Job: Guy Pearce Returns For 'Alien: Covenant'
As Ridley Scott tools up another crew for doom in the upcoming Alien: Covenant, the sequel/prequel will return to its horror roots by making sure that in space, no one can hear you scream. Exploring the Xenomorph lore, #AlienCovenant is amping up the mystery and making Michael Fassbender the center of proceedings. Fassbender will be in the dual role of androids David (returning from #Prometheus) and newcomer Walter. We already saw David's nefarious schemes last time around, while Walter seems just as sinister as his doppelgänger in the footage we have seen.

Could George Lucas Direct 'Star Wars: Episode IX'?
Speculation over the future of the Star Wars franchise is attracting more and more curiosity with the news that Colin Trevorrow and Disney are officially parting ways before Episode IX begins production. There is still a lot of unknowns about why Disney's Star Wars films have seen so many directors come and go, but perhaps this is the best opportunity to point out the most obvious replacement for Colin Trevorrow: The one and only George Lucas.

Latest 'Alien: Covenant' Image Hints At Trailer And A Face-Hugging Tribute To 1986's 'Aliens'
There are two types of people: those who think Ridley Scott's Alien is the greatest chest-bursting entry in the outer space franchise, and those that think James Cameron's Aliens is the pinnacle of ass-kicking, sass-mouthed, marine madness. While it may be Scott who is directing the upcoming Alien: Covenant, it looks like it's assholes and elbows as we tool up for the oncoming xenomorph attack. Could Scott be taking a leaf out of Cameron's book as we head down a more militarized attack on the acid-spitting creatures.

Teaser Image For Jurassic World 2 is Actually For Upcoming Website
The teaser image actually connects 'Jurassic World' with a new, upcoming website, that is supposed to provide a link between films by establishing a middle ground for fans still interested in what is going on between the events of "Jurassic World" and the still, untitled "Jurassic World 2". The mistake has been clarified and confirmed by the Twitter Account for Jurassic World, but it's possible that some early theories on the title for "Jurassic World 2" were too spot on, and the direction of the title reveal might have to be taken in a different direction because of the early predictions. However, the title reveal in the teaser image(below) could now say "Jurassic Online" if it does directly correspond with "Jurassic World" and its online companion.

Star Wars Episode 8: Renowned Actor Frank Oz Is On Set
Star Wars Episode 8 is currently under production and new cast members are arriving at Pinewood Studios in the United Kingdom. Oz didn't elaborate as to what piece of work he was in the U.K. for, but being that he's arriving to Pinewood Studios while the big production currently underway is that of Star Wars Episode 8, it's plausible that the newest addition to the cast of Star Wars: Episode 8 is that of Frank Oz. Famously known for his part as the puppeteer and voice behind the character of Yoda in the original Star Wars trilogy. Oz made a statement with his interwoven workings of a puppet through the creation of an iconic dialect that would span decades to pass. From a fan reciting a line from a film or text being reworded to form the dialect associated with Yoda, Frank Oz has made the character of Yoda an ageless icon. Now he's back on set of Star Wars Episode 8, and it looks like he'll be bringing some magic back to the franchise.

Star Wars Episode 8; Leia in danger; Laura Dern will lead The Resistance in unspecified role
The newest addition to the cast is that of Laura Dern. There has been no confirmation as to what role Laura Dern will have in Star Wars: Episode 8, but newly leaked information indicates that Laura Dern's character will be a leader in the Resistance after General Leia Organa cannot resume command. Dern's character is said to take over command of the Resistance when General Leia Organa's ship is attacked by the First Order. General Organa survives the attack but is wounded and winds up in a coma. The command of the Resistance falls to Dern's character, but she fails and the Resistance suffers casualties. The other piece of leaked information cites that Dern's character in the film will come from an antagonistic mindset , along with an ambiguous set of loyalties which could correlate to the Resistance failing further under her command, having been purposely set into motion by Dern's character. If the character for which Laura Dern is playing has an ambiguous set of loyalties, that could jeopardize the status of the Resistance if she chooses to side with another alliance rather than the Resistance. Or her role may be a conflicting one, wherein she has no choice but to betray the Resistance in lieu of whoever she is in league with commanding her to do so. These are all theoretical for the moment.

Jupiter Ascending: transcending the Sci-Fi genre in a beautiful way.
Thanks to the wonderful staff at Moviepilot, I was able to take a look into a pre-release Blu-ray of Jupiter Ascending, which comes out June 2nd on blu-ray, DVD, and digital HD. In all honesty I wasn’t sure what I’d be in for. It’s one of the biggest struggle of watching a film after so many reviews and spoilers have already been released. I always try my best to avoid the critics before I have a chance to watch any film, but alas I was spoiled before seeing Jupiter because of all the hype. Nevertheless, I did my best to enter into this film experience with as much of an open mind as I could, because honestly the reviews that I had seen weren’t, how should I say “overwhelmingly positive”, most were downright nasty, yet through it all I have to say that I liked it.

A Franco-ly Amazing Idea: Has James Franco Joined 'Alien: Covenant' As Ellen Ripley's Father?
While the dishy James Franco may have dodged the lead role from upcoming film The Predator, could he soon be tooling up against another other-worldly menace? According to AvPGalaxy, the 38-year-old will be sticking on his space suit to get a great big face hug from Ridley Scott's Prometheus sequel/Alien prequel Alien: Covenant. We already know that Franco's long-term comedy buddy Danny McBride is along for ride, so could the pair swap side-splitting comedies for chest-bursting xenomorphs? Franco will reportedly play a small (but significant) role in 2017's species slaughter.

Jurassic World 2: What this sequel can do to not be a Jurassic Park sequel
When news broke of the Jurassic Park franchise getting a soft reboot, there were mixed fixed feelings from fans on both sides. Some expected the new chapter in the Jurassic Park franchise would reiterate what both Jurassic Park: The Lost World and Jurassic Park 3 did (poorly received reviews and ratings), and others were hopeful that a new entry in the series would breathe new life into Jurassic Park. When the new entry was announced to be titled Jurassic World, it was met with some skepticism. Despite the skepticism, fans were still flocking to movie theaters to see Jurassic World and the film made a huge hit in the box office as well as satisfying a lot of fans' expectations for a worthy, new chapter in the Jurassic Park series. After the release of the film, it wasn't long before talks began to float around of a potential sequel; Universal Studios was very happy with their new investment in the Jurassic Park series, with the film being the second highest grossing film of 2015 so it's obvious that a sequel would be in the works very quickly. And it has, a sequel was announced to be released on June 22, 2018. Both stars of Jurassic World, Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt will reprise their roles in the yet to be titled, Jurassic World sequel. Director, Colin Trevorrow is also returning to direct but will co-write the script alongside Derek Connolly. Having confirmation that the sequel is in the works, it leaves much to speculate on where a new chapter in the Jurassic Park series could go. The previous trilogy hit a variety of plot threads and Jurassic World returned the events of the film to a new park, which leaves the next chapter open to go in many different directions.

Polish your pistols and dry off those dreadlocks, the hunt is on for Shane Black's upcoming Predator movie. Imaginatively titled The Predator, Black brings the fourth *official* #Predator film to our screens, and the most recent since 2010's Predators. While shooting has only just got underway, audiences are still left in the dark at where exactly the franchise's next entry is heading. Off the back of that rather cheesy first cast photo, a more realistic version of the actors on set has surfaced online.
