future
Exploring the future of science today, while looking back on the achievements from yesterday. Science fiction is science future.
Living with Sand
When a product resembles waste in a practical sense, acts of manufacturing and transporting become ways to occupy a new place in time. In the context of the market, sand is distinguished from gravel by gradation, from soil by use value. In the gradation process, sand is passed through a series of sieves, ever finer, and sorted. A name is given, leading to a value, which curves, slopes, and flattens depending on economic forces too large to see.

Hyper-Futurism or Dystopia, Which Is Best?
Either it will be a technological gadget-fest where there will be flying cars, holographic projections, and robot servants; or it will be a desolate future where we’ve wrecked the environment, caused nuclear winters, or enacted police states through governments either turning on its own people or another country. So what are the best examples of these two polar opposites? Let’s have a look.

The Troubling Trajectory of Technological Singularity
Technological singularity refers to the point in time where artificial intelligence surpasses human intelligence, and the troubling trajectory of technological singularity should be something more widely recognized. What happens to humanity after we pass the brink of hyper-intelligent computers is a difficult question to answer.

Innovative Materials in Modern Architecture
We live in an age of rapid technological advancement, but also an era of excessive use of natural resources and land. The construction industry recognizes the need to evolve and revolutionize its approach to building, as well as the materials used for crafting new structures. With the implementation of innovative materials becoming more prominent in modern architecture, as well as unconventional, outside-of-the-box designs and concepts, we are witnessing the rise of eco-consciousness on a global level. New technologies are being developed, changing the appearance, and lifespan of our buildings, thus propelling the industry towards a safer, cleaner, and more sustainable future. Let’s take a look at some innovative, eco-friendly building materials that are transforming and reshaping modern-day architecture.

Nanobots and the Future of Technology
You might have heard the term nanobots in movies and remember them as microrobots. Nanobots in real life are nanoparticles sized machines. Nanoparticles are in between 1 to 100 nanometers. The study of building nanobots is called Nanorobotics. It is now mainly in the development phase and can have great potential to unlock new possibilities in the world of technology.

Children of Mother Earth
The Big Disaster It had to happen eventually, World War Three. For longer than half a century rulers and soldiers kept busy lying to the population about the results of a nuclear war. It would all be fine. A couple million deaths, yes, that was inevitable. An enormous devastation, certainly! But that too was manageable. Humanity had already had two major wars in the twentieth century and even then, people predicted the end of civilization and what had it become? Millions of victims, Europe in ruins, but immediately afterwards survivors started building and golden times of prosperity arrived. It would undoubtedly also be the case after the third world war. As soon as it was over, the rulers and governors would come up with their families and secret files from the bomb-free shelters, take control and become the masters of the new Golden Age. Whoever possessed the power sat on velvet. The dead would be solemnly remembered with wreaths of flowers, graves of honor and speeches, and the world could begin rebuilding with fresh courage. The destroyed cities would rise even bigger and higher from the ashes. And all problems regarding to slum clearance and overcrowding would be solved immediately. No, the men (of course they were men) with their fingers at the red buttons and purple telephones were not afraid. The moment the big conflict would break out they would be safe under the ground. Those who had to stay above the ground would have a few very hard weeks and maybe even die, but a world population of billions of people was not just wiped out. There would be enough survivors to start over and to cheer on the resurfaced rulers when they would drive by in bulletproof tanks...

The Future Is Nuclear
In a world of mass disinformation, it is easy to let opinions and speculation get in the way of facts and science. It is no secret our climate is changing. What is difficult is accurately predicting the impact this change will have on the immediate and long-term futures. Due to a mainly political agenda, alternative fuels such as wind, hydroelectric, and solar power have been idolized as our planet’s saving grace. At the same time, exaggerated claims have destroyed the reputation of anything nuclear, and has made the subject almost taboo. However, when presented objectively with the facts, as well as the sheer potential of fission/fusion technology, it is understandable to see nuclear power is the most viable alternative to fossil fuels in the fight to deter climate change.

Vita Super Terram
Synopsis Religious scriptures and teachings often build a foundation on good morals. These morals are often taught through the personification of civilizations' surroundings at the time. Personifying things such as constellations, human personalities, social structures, and other non living things of this nature. Vita Super Terram (V.S.T.), is Latin for “Life on Earth," and will explain life on earth, as of the 21st century. As humans we are unaware of what caused the creation of life, but understand all things follow a basic cause and effect principle. The facts that will be presented are not meant to dismiss God, but rather to show that we do not, and may not ever, understand the original cause of life. What we do, on the other hand, have documentation of, through drawing and writing, is the beginning of civilization. V.S.T., will start from the root of civilization, and follow it up to the now, to help better the understanding of a constantly evolving life on earth.

The Best Alternative Technological Sources for Future Energy Needs
Clearly the current methods of running industry, heating homes and transporting goods and people around the world are posing a serious threat on the ecosystem and now must be replaced by something else. Fortunately there are other ways of obtaining energy without ruining the planet and making life difficult or impossible. We should take the signs of global warming seriously and act on alternative sources of energy and give up fossil and nuclear based energy. What already exists is promising and needs to be pursued with vigor. Among these are; wind power, geothermal energy, tidal energy, infrared sources, geomagnetic sources, piezoelectric energy and radio wave energy.

What Is Global Warming?
In this paper we will be doing a critique on National Geography’s article "What Is Global Warming?" National Geographic has been around for many years. There is not one author that wrote this article, but it is a collaboration from some of the world’s best scientists, photographers, journalist, and filmmakers. These articles are pro-science articles which means, “These sources consist of legitimate science or are evidence based through the use of credible scientific sourcing. Legitimate science follows the scientific method, is unbiased and does not use emotional words. These sources also respect the consensus of experts in the given scientific field and strive to publish peer reviewed science (Media Bias/ Fact Check, 2018).” I believe with the intense research done from the organization and the mass amounts of people involved they have high accounts of qualifications. They work to make the best scientific evaluation that gives no better reference to what is going on in the world today.

Will Pollution End Us?
With the way we are going with carbon dioxide pollution saturating the air, will the world begin to expel us to cleans itself? Will we, as people, learn to respect the earth in time to reverse what we have one? Is there a time frame that we must go by before it is too late? Many questions can be asked regarding the climates changing rapidly and pollution covering cities to the point of the smog blocking the sun from visibility. What can we do, how can we help, where do we start? In my opinion we need to start soon before it is too late.
