Obsessed
Ash walked up and down the aisles of the little antique store, her hazel eyes fell on the little black notebook that sat next to the other trinkets. She slowly reached out and touched it, only to pull back quickly. A sense of peace had washed over her, she hadn’t realized she was tense in the moments before touching that journal. She looked around at the other trinkets, seeing a small porcelain elephant, an old tea set with delicate flowers painted on them and other easy nicknacks, but no other journals. “I have a million journals at home.”

Queen's Heir
I twirled my staff toward the dummy that stood before me, imagining it to be an enemy of our kingdom, jabbing it in the side then in the heart. My heart was loud in my own ears as I trained until I ran out of breath. I inhaled deeply and wiped the sweat off of my forehead. “You work too hard to be exerting yourself Jasmine.” I heard a male say from off to my right. I glanced over at the man that approached me from the shadows. His aura, an ultraviolet, could be easily seen from where he was. “What do you plan on doing with all of this training?” Parker was an obnoxious man that knew how to swoon women but I was lucky enough to evade his charms. I was born not to get distracted easily and when I did, It was a hell of a day in my world.

VICKY
Looking around, I was enchanted by the décor that surrounded me. Late Victorian in design and colour, I could almost hear the late actresses singing in their beautiful flowing dresses, in full make-up and acting as they sang. Standing at the front of the stage, it was amazing to see how large this old building was. The auditorium could sit two thousand people. Even the seats still looked late Victorian and the lamps still had their original glass shades, but surely now electricity had been installed.

The Agency
It's strange how a little thing can alter one's entire life. Missing a flight, arriving early to work, spilling your coffee, or checking the mail. As a detective, I've seen first-hand the all too real consequences to seemingly mundane events. It should be of little surprise that one such event changed everything for me, but some things surprise even the most astute observers.
