fact or fiction
Is it science fact or science fiction? Futurism presents both sides to determine the truth.

iHeart #Shortstory2021 James was not a good-looking man, Hell he was not even a smart man, but if there is one thing, he did have it would be the fact, that he was a nice person. Not a self-imposed nice guy. It was the fact that he was unknowingly nice. Buying food for a Homeless man for the sake, of wanting to feed another human being on an especially rainy day. He did not record it, he didn’t take a picture, mostly for the fact he had not gotten himself a decent phone and was forced due to the low income of his work, sadly could not afford one., He looked at his watch and tapped his foot impatiently on the ground as he waited and waited wondering if he had been made a fool out of. It would not be the first time that this has happened. With the way social media has used him before he thought this was just another time where he would be spit out by an unflinching love life, with a desire to watch him suffer alone. but then alas she was there, A young woman late thirty's, with hair the same color hair as the deepest fires of hell. A less than conventional way to describe the woman whom you would be spending the evening with. “James?” She asked inquisitively eyeing him up and down like she was shopping for a new phone. “Melissa?” He turned and asked with a very straight forward face.

Chime
Each bell toll told Neve that she was losing more and more time. She looked down at her pale hands as they began to wrinkle, shriveling just as they did every day at this hour. By the moment the hour bell finished its song of eight, she could see gray hair beginning to sprout from the roots growing from her skull. Neve was only twenty-one, but she easily could have been mistaken for her fifties in this lapse of her particular curse.

The Man Who Can Draw Your Soulmate.
For most of us, the thought of meeting our soulmate, that one person who ticks all the right boxes, is always present, whether we like to admit it to each other or not. The concept of the person we are meant to spend the rest of our lives with, especially in more recent times, is imagined as our perfect partner; the yin to our yang; the apple of our eye; the cherry to our pie (you get the drill).

Greece and Kenya
Lysistrata. The name of a powerful fictitious woman, and an ancient Greek play that was written, performed and watched for entertainment by only men. Aristophanes was not necessarily a feminist but he understood and recognised the power that women had, this and the fact that we’ve seen this story in our own modern world is why Lysistrata is my favourite tale.

In the contest between horror movies, Armageddon, and the earth coming to a standstill
All the World's Scariness Since childhood, I have always hated horror movies. The idea of watching an imagineered anxiety-ridden, shriek-fest, and gruesome gore unfolding when real-life scenarios have happened and continue to do so seemed nonsensical to me. Add to that mentally, emotionally, physically, and genetically, I am NOT meant to be frightened for fun. By reflex, any person trying to scare me will probably get hit with a hammer.

Little Whispers
Dee Montraine had not planned on becoming a single mother (but then, who did?). When she told the news to her mother, she did not get a delighted smile or even a hug—but a slap across the face, sure to leave a bruise when the pain had settled in. The last thing Dee saw through her tears was the way her mother’s body shook as if electricity were running through her veins. There hadn’t been a need for words right then, though her mother did not do the cruel thing and throw her daughter out into the nowhere landscape of the small town where they lived.

Dark Cloud
The "Small Black Notebook" was founded in 1788, January 26th on the shores of Weé-Rong, Gondwanaland, from the final leg of the voyage through War-ran. A leather-bound book wrapped in a Moleskine cloth to protect its thick ivory pages from the salty conditions of the exploration vessel's diminishing environment. By order of His Royal Highness King Terra Nullius III, within it's pages a petition of regulations Lieutenant Jacob Cookiecutter was to alter under his own volition and quill. Perhaps the datum for the ensuing innuendos that any black book would come to endure.
